It was a big gravid female. He lives on a horse property with a little boulder hill in the back. He said he’s had 7 this year. He has a view fence and said he got a quote already but is wanting to get it now.

A little storm was rolling in so it was really nice out. The snake just hung out in the front yard as I drove there. The home has desert across the street.

They have a view fence that has some desert behind it. The community has a big chunk of desert surrounding it. This was a gravid female.

I watered for a long time and alot of other holes appeared. Eventually two gophersnake popped out and the toad was by the ac unit. The home has a strip of desert behind them and then more just outside the community.

He said it started to slither away so he killed it with a shovel while I drove there. He had a large yard with lots of vegetation and a lot of desert around.

She said she saw the snake a week ago in the back yard but thought it was a gophersnake and that it had moved on. They have a tortoise and deep tortoise burrow which the snake could have been hanging out in. The home has a desert mountain near by. They have a block fence with one gate.

It was in the entryway on the way to the restrooms. This was at a public park that had soccer fields and other fields. There once was desert across the street but it was all flattened with tractors in it ready to be built up. The building the snake was in had a storage area with a garage type door which is where I think the snake had been hibernating. The little snake had a bolus also.

2024-10-11 11:00 PM	Gilbert	85203	None	Received call from a customer stating that there was a rattlesnake inside of his neighbor’s house. Caller said that he lived on in a guest home on his neighbor’s lot and was calling for her. Customer stated snake got in from open front door. Arrived at property on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Reservation and was greeted by caller who showed me inside customer’s home. Greeted customer who was on the couch and she pointed to me where she first saw the snake near a rolled up carpet between living room and the kitchen. Customer stated she saw the snake and it “rattled and growled” at her. She stated she saw the snake go further into the kitchen behind refrigerator. Kitchen was structurally in disrepair and cluttered with empty cans and trash. Called assisted in clearing out the kitchen. There was a hole in the wall near the sink that lead to the outside. Looked under refrigerator, sink, and cabinets. Structural damage and rodent litter noted throughout. Finished up in the kitchen area and inspected the outside property. Property sits between 2 large agricultural fields and called stated it is flood irrigated. Many overgrown grasses and perennial plants around property. Poked my head under crawl space and noted a water leak from inside the home with water pooling. Pointed out all areas to caller and provided education on snake behavior. Performed quick inspection of the rest of the home. The rooms were packed with belongings and inaccessible for the most part. I suspect if there was a snake it may have been a gophersnake as the customer stated it was a yellow color and hissed. The owner of the home seemed like she may not have been fully aware of what was happening. Opted to not charge the customers and told the owner if she sees the snake again to call us.

2021-10-09 7:30 PM	Mesa	85201	Blacktailed Rattlesnake	Mesa Arts Center was called in by staff. This was an odd call. The security guard almost stepped on the black tail. This is smack dab in the middle of the city nothing but businesses and concrete. There is no desert for 20 miles. I think the snake must have got up into a vehicle or hitched a ride on something and came out while the vehicle was parked.

The snake would have not been able to get out of the trench it was about five feet deep and had some pipes going down it. This is my third Mojave call to this job site in 3 weeks.

They told me to have the invoice emailed. Two Western Diamondbacks in a deep trench near the entry gate. One of them was a gravid female.

I decided to flood the hole, and did so for about 30 minutes. The snake never came out so we tried to dig it out with shovels for a long time but the snake was never heard or seen again. We backfilled the hole very well. I inspected the property and could not find any exit holes. Unfortunately I do not think the snake will make it. Sincerely tried my best.

I searched everywhere and didn’t see anything. She has a vegetable garden that takes up most the back yard. I noticed some rodent poop around but no snake. I don’t think there was a snake to begin with. She has a brick fence, a few drain holes and a gate.
