8:00 PM Chandler 85248 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner stepped out her front door and heard a rattle. She looked down, and there was a rattlesnake by her foot. This area is all farm fields and homes. The closest desert is probably a mile away. Not really a good area for this snake.
2024-03-08
12:30 PM Chandler 85248 Bird The homeowner said she heard something that sounded like leather moving in her laundry room. She assumed it was a snake. When I walked in there I heard scratching so I knew it wasn’t a snake but maybe a rodent or lizard. I pulled the dryer out and removed the vent. The little bird was right where the tube hooks up. Must of fell in from outside and couldn’t get out. I caught the bird which I think was a swallow and released it outside.

8:30 AM Chandler 85248 Sidewinder The pool person spotted the snake in the pool on a float. They got it out and put it in a tub. The community is surrounded by a golf course and farm fields with the desert pretty far away so this snake traveled kind of far to get to this house.

3:00 PM Gilbert 85242 California Kingsnake The home owner was tearing up a bush in his back yard and he saw the snake. He put it in a bucket with a rack. Since it was a nice snake they wanted to keep it.

10:00 PM Gilbert 85233 None The homeowner saw the king snake on her car port. She said it was a black and white snake so I assume king. After she saw it, it went into her back yard. Me and a police officer that she had also called searched her front and back yard we did not find the snake. She had citrus trees and a garden that was moist. But I think the snake just got scared and went back there. She has lived in the house 35 years and has seen no snakes.
2024-04-30
8:00 PM Gilbert 85233 Corn snake The homeowner was out by the pool equipment when she spotted the snake. This was a regular neighborhood which isn’t as common to get escaped pets out of. The snake was healthy too.

2019-02-24
5:00 PM Chandler 85226 Tiger Whiptail Seen sticking halfway out of a hole. Home owner sent me a photograph to identify but could not be more specific than that it was not a rattlesnake, and gave the option to leave it in place or have us out. Home owner opted to have us come out, where it was discovered that the snake was actually a Tiger Whiptail, looking to be displaced and a bit rough from recent rainfall.

6:30 PM Chandler 85224 None The homeowner went to smoke on his front patio when he saw a snake. He quickly ran back inside, and when he went back out, it was gone. He said he thought it was a rattlesnake because it had diamonds. This is an area that would not get rattlesnake. I showed him a picture of a gophersnake and he said that might be it. I searched his whole yard and garage and didn’t find anything. His yard was pretty open in the front with little vegetation. He had a big shed in the back and a wood pile which I looked in best I could.
