They thought it was a rattlesnake rattling at them every time they walked past it. This afternoon they noticed a snake climbing a tree in their backyard headed towards a dove nest. The snake then proceeded to eat a baby dove and then come back to the ground where it rested under an outdoor fireplace. They quickly blocked all of the gates, so that they snake could not escape and called us. When I got there I was able to successfully capture the large coachwhip and relocate it to a nearby wash. I was also able to determine that the noises that where coming from the bush was a family of rabbits, with several baby bunnies.
