After a quick web search, he called us and we were en route within minutes. When I arrived, the snake was still coiled- sitting in ambush. I secured him in the bucket and found a suitable nearby habitat to release the snake into. I found a large, deep rock structure that would make for a perfect release spot. The snake was released, and both parties were able to go about the rest of their day.

She has no problem with Kingsnakes, but her backyard has very few exit and entry points, as it’s closed off by a large stucco wall with no gaps or exposed drains. She was concerned the Kingsnake would be trapped in her backyard if she didn’t call for help. I was on the road in minutes, and when I arrived, the snake was still in the same area- cruising alongside the wall. After receiving a fragrant bath in Kingsnake musk, I put the snake in the bucket and found a suitable release site. A deep rodent burrow underneath a dead Saguaro with some shade made for an optimal release spot.

9:30 AM		 Tucson 85745 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This homeowner called when she found a large Western Diamondback Rattlesnake sitting in ambush under a lawn decoration in her backyard. She’s no stranger to rattlesnakes and has utilized our services several times in the past- having 7 rattlesnakes removed just last year. When I arrived, she was patiently watching the rattlesnake- ensuring it did not flee while I was en route. I secured the large rattlesnake in the bucket, gave it some room-temperature water to cool it down and give it a chance to hydrate, and found suitable habitat nearby to release it to. There was a large wash with rocky outcrops that made for an appropriate release site. I found a deep rodent burrow directly underneath a Saguaro, covered by a large boulder and plants which provided shade above the entrance to the burrow. The snake was released into a suitable habitat within its home range, hopefully to live the rest of its life without human interaction.

I arrived quickly and secured the snake, gave it some water, conducted a thorough inspection, and found a nearby wash to release the snake into. A large, deep rodent burrow alongside a wash with cover made for an optimal release spot.

There is a barn that has nothing but packrat nests in and old hay in it and under it. A truly impressive amount of packrat activity.

The snakes had not moved by the time I arrived. When I exited the house onto the patio they decoupled and one of them tried to get away. I quickly secured both snakes. The yard has high exposure to the nearby desert. There is a block wall, but there are gaps that snakes can easily enter.

I arrived around midnight and the snake had left the room. After searching around the yard I was able to locate a large western diamondback rattlesnake which had climbed up into an ocotillo in the back yard. The yard is well guarded from the nearby desert with a lot of plants and places for snakes to hide. I spotted a small gap at one side-fence where the snake likely made entry and couldn't figure out how to leave.

Recognizing a black-and-white ringed tail she called us to come get what she thought was a rattlesnake. Her dog had been bitten in this yard before. When I arrived i found what looked to be a 3-5 year old female Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled beneath the plant. I gently pulled at various coils to get her out and instead of rattling she just patiently pulled back. Eventually, she’d had enough and emerged from the shelter of the plant and began to rattle. This allowed me to gently put her into the bucket.
