When I arrived, I located the large diamondback but was unable to capture it as it went underneath a large deck in the backyard. While trying to find a way to get to it, I removed a smaller snake from underneath the deck. The original larger snake was unable to be captured due to the situation, and will likely need to be removed at a later time.

Tucson 85716 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about a rattlesnake being found in her planter in the front entrance of the home. The area is very dense with established housing. I was shocked to discover a rattlesnake about 1.5-2 feet in length sitting at the top of the planter. The customer had lived in the home for 40 years and had never seen one. I inspected the remaining areas for additional snakes. None were found. End of report.

After capturing that snake a second diamondback was located on the property. It was a male and a female; likely a pair. Both snakes were released into the same shelter in a suitable spot nearby.
