Opened filter basket lid and observed a neonate atrox wrapped around center post. Utilized large tweezers to capture and bucket with no issue. Performed property inspection and pointed out places where snake could seek refuge. Only one point of entrance into backyard which was a side gate on west end of property. Asked if customer would be interested in free fencing estimate and customer declined. No other snakes found on property. |

I searched around and found a baby rattlesnake coiled up under a tray by their front door. The home has nothing but dirt in the immediate yard but they have a nice desert wash near by. |

Noticed the snake in the trap on the north side of the garage door. The snake had wrapped itself around the door track. Customer stated that snake was hissing at them prior to my arrival. Used Pam spray and rubber grips on giant tweezers to gently work the oil on and release snake from the trap. Once free I used tweezers to place into bucket. Snake seemed somewhat docile but this was my first encounter with this species so I’m not sure if it was typical behavior. Offered property inspection but customer declined. Provided education on snake behavior and offered a free fencing quote for rattlesnake prevention and customer declined. Garage door seal was in good shape and home is brand new. |
