They have a partial view fence back yard with an rv gate.

I caught a gophersnake out of this yard a week ago. Their yard has a view fence with desert right behind it. She is cleaning it up to not get snakes and the workers keep spotting the snakes.

The snake was on his side yard coiled up against the house and a brick. It was still there this morning so he called us. It was 46 degrees last night so the snake was just trying to keep warm. The home is right by a mountain and has a wash right on the side of their house.

This is a large horse property surrounded by desert. The guy said the lid was lifted a little allowing the snakes to get in at some point.

It was almost tucked away in a drain pipe but I managed to snag it before it got away. The snake was tucked away under the shelves. The garage door had gaps when shut. This location is odd, but I do get snakes in this area from time to time. A large canal separates a densely packed neighborhood from the wide-open desert. The canal is large, so the snake had to have swam across it.

Snake was freed and monitored to ensure it wasn't injured. Snake get its breath back and acted defensively, showing no signs of injury from the garage door. No other snakes found on inspection of the garage.

They took the trash out to the trash cans in the back yard and heard a rattle. When I got there, the rattlesnake was halfway in a rodent box. I popped it open and it was stuck to a sticky trap along with another dead adult atrox. I was able to free the snake with some oil and it was unharmed. The home has some dessert around it in the community but not a lot of great dessert anymore it’s really built up.

When I went to grab the snake it fell down the elevator shaft not to far a few feet. I went under there and was able to grab the snake. The parking garage is underground and I’m not sure how the snake even was able to get into this area. The offices are surrounded by desert and a lot of construction.

9:30 PM		 Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Snake in backyard. Fence under warranty. Arrived at customer’s home and was shown to the backyard. Noticed a subadult atrox in ambush near patio furniture. Snake was fairly exposed. Utilized tongs to capture snake. Snake jumped alive and struck at tongs but otherwise was captured without incident. Performed inspection of backyard. Some areas where snakes could seek refuge. Several large Leucophyllum bushes. No other snakes found. Inspected fence line. Fence seemed in good shape and I didn’t really notice any compromised areas. The only place I saw where a small rattlesnake could possibly enter was the side gate. It seemed like it was in good shape. Customer stated that the gate did have maintenance done after fence install. There was a very thin gap between gate and jamb. I think if the snake would have entered through here it would have had to try really hard. I suspect snake may have entered when customer was taking out the garbage. Customer would like fencing team to come inspect the fence.
