I poked and prodded all over the agave without a sound or movement. The customer was adamant that the snake was in the agave. It wasn't until we started cutting the agave down that the atrox was seen. The atrox rattled and struck repeatedly after I grabbed it.

Very defensive, struck, rattled and flailed wildly, crawled out of bucket while I was grabbing lid and kept trying to escape.

The RV gate has a broom-like material under it to keep snakes out but is ineffective. There is a gate in the Courtyard that has no protection. Besides that their yard is well kept.
