Tucson | 85741 | Sonoran Gophersnake | Customer called about massive snake that killed a rabbit in her yard. The snake killed the rabbit and left it, probably because the rabbit was too big to consume. I identified the snake as a Sonoran gophersnake. When I arrived I found the 6+ foot gophersnake lying underneath a grapefruit tree next to small plant and drip system. I captured the snake and released it immediately afterwards. End of report. |

Tucson | 85641 | None | Small rattlesnake seen in backyard last night. Crawled under a large Bush when customer engaged it in an effort to pick it up and toss over the wall with a shovel. Didn't call until this morning, thinking no one would come out.. A sizable fencing job as there are bunches of little drainage holes in a wall that mostly is contained. Multiple gates would need to be addressed as well as a couple of expansion joints. Customer is unsure weather or not he'll have you address the courtyard where the main issue is another gate and some expansion joints. Photo of snake from customer's picture identified as a yearling Western Diamondback. |
