As she bent down lower to get a better look at it she noticed the tongue flicker in and out. She quickly threw a pillow over it and called us to come relocate it.

I removed the side panel off the hot tub. The snake was found on top of a small shelf inside. I was able to capture it using my tings and place it gently into my bucket. 2:00 PM		 Phoenix 85054 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The snake was I t he homeowners back yard which was pretty bare nothing for the snake to hide in. It soon left and started to cross the street into the neighbors yard. The neighbor has snake tongs and held it down for a bit in the hot road then put it in a bucket. They thought it was dead when I arrive but it was alive it looks like they may have squeezed it to hard while holding it but after keeping it in my car ac for awhile it perked back up.

When I arrived 20 minutes after the phone call the customers had watched the snake leave garage and go behind a metal sheet behind the air conditioner. I used my tongs to move the sheet metal first. After that I was able to use my rings to capture the animal. End of report.

12:30 PM		 Tucson 85745 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about unknown snake found in small yucca bush. She sent me a photo of it via cellphone. I identified it as a western diamondback. While I was enroute to her home she kept a close eye on it. When I arrived the snake remained in same spot. I was able to capture it immediately. Snake was about 18 inches in length. I inspected the remainder of her yard with no further finds. End of report.

Last year he stepped on one and then figured out there were three more under this unit. He normally removes them himself but this one was just too big. I ended up watering the snakes out. Got one larger one and a smaller one.

I searched her front and back yard. Didn’t find anything. Her neighbors yard was vacant so I searched it and was about to open the back gate when I saw the snake watching me from under the gate.

Removing box after box to search for it. I noticed a very dilapidated box that was in corner. I looked through too and saw nothing. I then used my hook and poked into the bottom, which made the snake move and rattle. Once I knew the snake was in the box I slowly shifted box on its side and it came out. Quite probably got that exact 18" 3c Western Diamondback in the garage today. it was caught in a glue trap and I was able to safely remove and release the snake.

The snake was sleepy and cool, and hardly reacted as I moved it into the bucket. Advised to remove several overgrown plants in the yard and seal up a shed with holes and a beehive at the base to prevent snakes from using it.

The property is an eating disorder rehabilitation center, so removal of the snakes so close to client dorms was something very important to them. I found 1 small rattlesnake immediately sitting in corner of shed. I then flipped a piece of plywood and found the larger second one. I flooded out underneath shed, and a couple other suspicious areas. No further finds. End of report.

11:00 AM		 Tanque Verde 85749 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake An absolute beast of a Diamondback. Close to 54" 10b (USS). Customer had seen this snake a few weeks ago and scooted it into the desert with a shovel, but decided to call us when it showed up again. Its likely hibernaculum was a burrow under a very large rock, that was filled in during those warm days in mid February. The girth and weight of this snake was impressive. Customer is a snow-bird from MN, and may pursue fencing upon their return this fall.

5:00 PM		 Marana 85658 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake 46" 11b (USS) Western Diamondback near front porch. Fire Dept. removed a snake that the customer believes to be the same snake just 4 days ago. Was in the exact same spot. Probable den site about 40 yards away at a culvert that is built up with large boulders and deep crevices. An extensive fencing job with multiple gates and a sizable area. There is some chicken wire that most likely needs to be removed. There is also a courtyard area with a gate. I am unsure just what the customer would wish to do and an on-site estimate is needed.
