She then called us to see if we could remove it. When I got there I realized there was just a small hole in the side of the foundation that the snake was able to slip through and disappear under the Casita. I tried flushing it out, but without success. I told the homeowner to wait for the snake to be in the open and then call me, so I can try and capture it while it is out in the open. |

After looking for some time, I finally found the snake under some loose shingles that were on the ground. It was a four foot long gopher snake. They had looked at the patterning on the tail to identify it as a "coral snake." |
