The backyard was very small maybe 12ftx10ft. Noticed juvenile atrox in ambush against the wall of the home. Captured snake using tongs with no issue. I suspect the snake came from a neighboring yard and was stuck in the small sliver of shade it was in. The yard was completely bare and I donâ€™t think the snake would have stayed. Offered a fencing quote but the customer declined.

The yard had plenty of irrigated landscaping, but the shaded area around the front door was significantly cooler than the sunny front yard only feet away. I searched both the front and back yards and did not find any other snakes.

The customer stated the neighbor attempted to contain the snake in a bucket, but it may or may not have been in the bucket. Arrived home and went into the south-facing entryway, where there was a covered patio. I noticed a snake in ambush on an east facing was somewhat behind a 5-gallon bucket that was on its side. Upon closer inspection, I noticed it was a scutulatus in ambush which surprised me as the home was east of North Valley Parkway and the nearest habitat was almost exclusively mountain terrain. Captured snake using tongs and bucketed it with no issue. Customers stated they noticed the snake initially in the general location where it was near the front door. The area would have plenty of shade most of the day and early morning. Performed inspection of the front and backyard with no other snakes found. There was washes running north and east of home. The backyard has a brick wall all around. The side yard in the east has a lattice brick for drainage and side yard on the west has a gate. The family has three medium-sized dogs which are often out back. Offered a free fencing quote and they accepted.

I was able to quickly contain the snake in my bucket and provided room-temperature water. The property is free from excessively overgrown plants. However, they do have numerous plants in the rear yard with a great deal of water, but all in an elevated position. The front door is pretty deeply recessed and was probably just a temporary stop for thermoregulation. No other snakes were removed.

When I arrived the Western Diamondback was slithering through the parking lot, looking pretty lost. Gore & Associates campus called us after finding a rattlesnake coiled up in the shade near the back door of an office building. The snake had just consumed a large meal and had not moved from where it was discovered. The campus is located just east of the I-17 not far from the Sonoran Mountain Preserve. The immediate area surrounding the property is developed and has a lot of traffic, but there is also plenty of native desert close enough to be easily accessed by the snake.

Arrived at a brand-new complex that wasnâ€™t there last year and met callers outside in the parking lot. Callers had a stockpot on top of the snake. Removed the pot and noted a neonate atrox. Used large tweezers to capture and bucket with no issue. Performed a brief inspection of the immediate area and no other snakes were found.

He has only lived in the state for a month and this is the second rattlesnake he has seen on his property. The home backs up to a section of State Trust Land. There is a block wall surrounding the backyard, but there are drains in the block, and side gates with gaps. No other snakes were found.

There is a lot of construction in the area and with the recent rains, it would make sense for a snake to be moving through. Easy grab and relocation just northeast of the property into a packrat nest on one of the few undeveloped parcels in the area.

After capturing the snake, I searched the rest of the yard but did not find any other snakes. The house is very close to the Fireside at Norterra and a large desert preserve. The yard was clean, with well-maintained landscaping, some of which I recommended be trimmed around the base. There was a block wall on all three sides. There was a gate on each side, both with a gap, and a drain on one side. I looked at the garage door as well. There was a small gap on one side, and one in the center under joint in the driveway. The home has two small dogs and a two-year-old child that they want to keep safe.

When I arrived, he directed me to a small refrigerator and pointed out that you could see a little bit of the snake sticking out from underneath. I gently tilted the fridge about 45degrees, resting the edge up against the wall, and found that there was a second snake right beside the first. Once secure, I began a search of the yard. The large property had a view fence with DIY snake fencing overlooking a desert preserve. The mesh was installed well but was a little low in several places. The side gate was also snake-proofed, and although not perfect, I am not convinced that these two snakes entered through any sort of gap in the fence. I asked the homeowner if the gate had been open for any length of time recently and he explained that just last week, he had a landscaping crew going in and out of the yard for several hours, with the gate likely being open the entire time. No other snakes were found.

Thankfully, the snake was still alive but looked like it had been struggling for a while, and some of the netting was very tight on the snake. I was able to cut the snake free with minor scale damage, but nothing it canâ€™t survive. The homeowner has a really nice garden, and she says she gets rats, so she opted to keep the snake in her backyard. I made sure she tossed all the rest of the netting before the snake stayed there. There is natural desert behind this home and in and around the rest of the homes in the community.
