4:00 PM		 Cave Creek 85262 Kingsnake Some people working on the yard saw the snake go under a bush in the back yard. They thought it was a kingsnake but wanted me out to see just in case. I got it out from under the bush and the homeowner let the snake stay. The home has a golf course behind it and a lot of desert. The yard is well watered with a lot of vegetation.

12:00 PM		 Paradise Valley 85253 Kingsnake The homeowner saw the snake cruising around her back yard. She saw it stick its head in a few holes but come out. She said it seemed like it was looking for something. Then it went under a bush. There was a hole under the bush so I flooded the hole out and the snake came out. The home was on a hill side with a little desert throughout the other homes near by. The home didn’t have much it it’s yard for cover only a few small bushes. The community all had lots of thick vegetation and well watered yards.

Upon arrival I found an adult Desert/California Kingsnake intergrade hiding inside a grill cover that had been set on the ground. Interestingly it’s the second snake i’ve found in a grill cover in the last month.

9:00 AM		 Cave Creek 85262 Kingsnake Just moving into the property. Notes for fencing. She has a front courtyard that has a climb risk due to a low wall, but wants to discuss options if you have any creative solutions after looking at it. The backyard looks very doable. They have existing mesh, though that is the wrong size and not properly attached and on the wrong side of the fence, all of that good stuff. She’s going to cut back all of the brush on the other side of the fence. The property is not a major snake, heavy yard, but would like to get a quote anyway, and I bet it would go through. They are only here for another few days and leave on Monday, Memorial Day, so if possible to get out there Thursday or Friday I bet we could get it.

10:30 AM		 Paradise Valley 85253 Kingsnake Kingsnake found in irrigation box in the backyard of a Paradise Valley home with dense foliage, a pool, and a garden. I inspected the rest of the yard and did not find any additional snakes. The homeowner was not aware that their fencing is out of warranty, so I sent the information to the fencing team.

9:30 AM		 Scottsdale 85259 Kingsnake Called us for a western diamondback rattlesnake and a kingsnake. He had a video of both in the courtyard. The fire department apparently came before we did and caught the rattlesnake, but the guy told them to put it back so I could get it, because the fire department told him they were only going to take it down the street. I searched the area extensively and flooded out the gaps between the paver patio and the wall, and flooded out two kingsnakes, but the rattlesnake was nowhere to be found. It could still be under that patio because the under-cavity is pretty extensive, but since it was harassed by the fire department, it could have left. There was about 20 minutes of him not watching it before I got there.

Had to do some searching around but ultimately discovered a foot long Kingsnake slithering around in her bathroom. Snake was a bit large to squeeze in through and small cracks so I informed her that it likely came in through an open door when she wasn’t looking. Snake released into a rodent hole in a small patch of nearby desert.

9:00 PM		 San Tan 85143 Kingsnake The homeowners called the hotline right after being delivered food, the delivery driver informed them they had a \"rattlesnake\" sitting behind a decoration by their front door. They were afraid to check around any further due to the potential of a misstep by doing so since it was noted to be so close to the doorway. When I arrived I immediately walked to the front door where the animal was noted to be last seen, right away to my pleasant surprise it was an adult kingsnake stretched perfectly across the doorstep looking upwards, I picked the snake up and contained it in the bucket, while doing so I heard little chirping sounds I couldn\'t quite pinpoint. After knocking on the door the homeowners pointed out the nest of baby birds within their front door wreath, and explained this was the second year the momma bird had nested there successfully. It was then very clear that the kingsnake was looking up with the intent to get to that bird nest for it\'s door dashed dinner as well. I followed up by inspecting the property which has clean minimal and well maintained landscaping with a solid block wall for fencing and explained it would be easy to have the fencing team Rattlesnake proof their yard which they were very thankful and interested in. The home is on the end of a small community that is centered in and surrounded by open desert and agricultural land.

7:00 PM		 Tucson 85712 Kingsnake The kingsnake was climbing the side of the house to take eggs from a birds nest. The homeowner has kids and seriously wants to prevent more snakes. I advised they clear the debris around the yard that may attract snakes. The fence they have around their house is chain link with a gate over sand that doesn’t sit steady so I am writing this for the fencing team, in case it would be worth asking the homeowner for photos of the gate and posts. Despite this the homeowner seemed really concerned and asked for the fencing team to reach out.

7:30 AM		 Glendale 85310 Kingsnake The homeowner called after seeing a Kingsnake resting up against the house along the back edge of the patio. I have been to this Glendale home before. It sits just feet from a large, native wash. The yard has several sheds, irrigated landscaping, and a pool, all of which are kept very tidy. There is a gap under the gate leading to the front yard, perfect for a snake of this size. I searched the yard, but no additional snakes were found.

4:30 PM		 Cave Creek 85331 Kingsnake Customer watched a kingsnake enter her garage as she opened it. There was standing water on the large leaves of overgrown agave right next to the garage door as well as rodent activity, which is likely what attracted the snake to this area. I advised the client to trim the agave and eliminate the rodent problem to reduce risk of additional reptile visitors. No other snakes were recovered.

Her dog started acting weird and her daughter heard something start to hiss from under the chair. They got up and saw a snake coiled underneath the chair. They left the house and had the fire department come look for the snake, but they couldn't find it. I went through their house this morning looking for the snake, but wasn't able to locate it. While inspecting the property I found a groundsnake floating in the pool, so I relocated it to a more suitable location.

12:00 PM		 Paradise Valley 85253 Groundsnake Has several baby snakes and a mom in a kid playroom. Only one snake was found under a couch in a room reserved for rescue kittens. The customer ended up thinking she only saw one snake and believed it to be more. Whole room was checked to ensure there were no more snakes. It likely entered through a ground level window that was left slightly ajar. Once customer was told it was a harmless insect eater she decided to have me release it on the property in a hole.

We think the ground snake was in the vent and somehow got in the drier and when she washed her bathroom mat he ended up getting dried and died.

1:30 PM		 Chandler 85286 Groundsnake The homeowners where in their garage 5 days ago and saw a ground snake stuck in there sticky trap in the corner of there garage. They were in the same garage two nights ago and noticed another ground snake stuck in a sticky trap in the same garage. There was a snake shed in the garage which I found coming out of the wall. They had a couple scorpions and spiders in the other sticky traps. The yard is gravel and no grass or water. I assume the snakes were after the insects in the garage and the shade and just happened to get stuck.

It took its last breath and then died.
