11:30 AM		 Phoenix 85048 Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake The homeowner called as they were servicing their tortoise water dishes in their tortoise pen in the back yard and noticed a white-ish Rattlesnake under the bowl so they called us for assistance with it. When I arrived they informed me the snake had moved into the shade of the nearby hose caddy. I went to the backyard tortoise pen and saw a beautiful large speckled Rattlesnake curled up under the hose caddy as claimed the snake was calmly transferred into the bucket where I then was able to hike up the nearby South Mountain trail away from any homes or buildings to release it into rocky cover. The home is situated in a neighborhood right up against the ideal habitat of the South Mountain Preserve.

11:30 AM		 Phoenix 85048 Sonoran Gophersnake The homeowner heard his dog barking in the back yard, so he went and looked and saw the large snake. Not knowing what kind it was, he got the dog inside and watched the snake go behind a nearby paver that was leaned on the fence. It ended up being a gophersnake. They have lived in this home for 30 years without seeing a snake. The home had a grassy yard with very little vegetation. There was an elementary school across the street and a big drainage the lead to a desert hillside on the other side of the home.

11:30 PM		 Phoenix 85048 Nightsnake The homeowner called after spotting a Desert Nightsnake inside her home near the front door. She watched it crawl into a coat closet where her three cats kept watch until I arrived. The closet was full of items that had accumulated over the years, all of which had to be removed. I finally found the snake after removing the very last item from the closet. The homeowner thinks that it might have come in with an Amazon package that had been delivered earlier in the day. It is also possible that it found a way in through a very small gap in the front door. This was the second time that we have been called out to this Ahwatukee home to remove a Desert Nightsnake. No other snakes were found.

8:00 PM		 Phoenix 85048 Desert Spiny Lizard A worker at a local dry cleaning facility called because they could not find a moderately sized lizard that had ran in when the door was open and went behind much of their businesses supplies. When I arrived the lizard was not where they said it was and I had to do a lot of moving around of storage supplies in a storage closet and eventually found and captured the lizard before driving it down the road to the local park where I released it into a rock pile

7:00 AM		 Phoenix 85048 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This is a fence customer of ours. It is a preschool. This morning when checking the playground to make sure it was safe a teacher spotted the baby rattlesnake coiled on the turf. They weren't able to watch it and it wasn’t there when I arrived. I looked under everything and throughout the whole playground. There was an empty space between the turf and the corner of the building. I lifted the turf and saw a tiny hole. I poured water in the hole and the neonate came out. Behind the school, there is a little chunk of desert and even more across the street.

11:30 AM		 Phoenix 85045 Sonoran Gophersnake The snake was in the customers back yard. It was laying in the grass under no shade cover. When I picked the snake up it was stiff and dead. There was no visible predation marks. I believe the snake was laying out and got to hot and died.

2:00 PM		 Phoenix 85045 None They had 3 confirmed rattlesnakes in the back yard 2 nights ago. Very clean yard with little vegetation and no junk etc. They have a grass lawn where the rattlesnakes were found and it was quite wet. I noticed some junk concrete just outside the fence line. It was in the direction they retreated to. I searched under the concrete but found nothing. About 20 feet from the back of the property is a large pallo verde tree with a large pack rat nest. It is a possible estivation site. I was unable to locate any snakes or see any signs of any in the pack rat nest. It was a large nest and I did not excavate the whole nest. I flooded a dozen holes in both the front and back yard with no luck. My guess is that there is an estivation site nearby and they were coming into the yard to get a drink from the irrigated lawn.

When I arrived the snake had moved to a little garden area and there was two rattlesnakes coiled up on each other.
