Tucson 85745 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake x 2 John Binns is a reptile conservation guy who specializes in Iguanas. He has even contributed to a book on saving the species on Grand Cayman. He captured this pair of Western Diamondbacks after his wife discovered them coiled together in a flower bed, while weeding. Unsure what to do next, and uncomfortable with venomous animals, he called us and I gave him a reduced price to relocate them. He was a fantastic guy and gave me a tour of his amazing Iguana room which included some unique and rare specimens. 31" 5b with a good taper and 33" 8b with a slight taper. Possible mating pair and I released them together in nearby habitat.

Tucson 85745 None Customer called and had rattlesnake in backyard last night. He called fire department and had stepped away briefly. When fire department arrived the snake had disappeared. He wanted a “piece of mind inspection “ to search for snake and also how it may have gotten in. The snake was not found. More then likely fled back into wash below. The fence he had did have 1/4 mesh around entire fence. But in some areas there were large gaps making it easy for snake to go in and out of. Also have the fence mesh was only a foot high. It was recommended that the fence be raised to a height of etleast 30 inches. It was also recommended that brush be trimmed and that pest control be utilized to control rodent population. Tucson 85745 Sonoran Gophersnake Called out for a Western Diamondback that went under a deck. Surveyed the situation and headed back to the car for my boots and a flashlight and found a 54" Sonoran Gopher snake on the crawl. Could not find the diamondback. Called back out around 7 pm as the resident spotted the diamondback coiled in a stump beneath the deck, but it unfortunately crawled away, deeper beneath the deck, just before I arrived. Fence job consists of 3 gates that need to be secured. I noticed no other ground level entry points, although vegetation most likely allows climbing snakes entry. Contact by phone for referrals.
