Marana | 85743 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Homeowner had been, over a period of weeks, observing a young adult female WDB coiled outside her kitchen window. When it got too hot the snake would disappear into a valve box next to its normal hangout spot. They had a plumber coming out and wanted us to move the snake so as not to scare them. The snake was in the rather deep (.75 meter?) Valve box cavity along with a large desert hairy scorpion and the desiccated corpse of a rodent. |

Phoenix | 85048 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner saw the rattlesnake coiled up against his home under a shady ledge. Phoenix | 85351 | Nightsnake | Received a call from adult children of a homeowner about a small snake in bedroom. While they coordinated with the homeowner the relayed a picture of me which I ID’d as a desert nightsnake. Provided education on the animal and encouraged homeowner to capture it themself. Homeowner declined and agreed with quote. Arrived at the home and was greeted by homeowner’s grandchildren. I was shown to the bedroom and noted the snake between the baseboard and leg of computer desk. Captured snake using hands without incident and let grandchildren pet the snake with permission from homeowner. After quick inspection of the home I believe the snake entered through the back door as family reported having the door open often to let dogs in and out. Homeowner stated this is the first snake she had seen in the neighborhood and asked questions about rattlesnakes. I assured the customer that there was no good habitat nearby for rattlesnakes and she didn’t have to worry about them. Provided education on the colubrid snakes that do well near golf courses. |

Phoenix | 85018 | Kingsnake | Homeowner called about a medium sized black and white snake in her bedroom. Had to do some searching around but ultimately discovered a foot long Kingsnake slithering around in her bathroom. Snake was a bit large to squeeze in through and small cracks so I informed her that it likely came in through an open door when she wasn’t looking. Snake released into a rodent hole in a small patch of nearby desert. |

Phoenix | 85048 | Coachwhip | The homeowner said she saw a rattlesnake in her back yard trying to climb the back wall. I was suspicious of this activity since rattlesnakes dont tend to do this and it’s 111 degrees out. When I got there I showed her pictures and we narrowed it down to a coachwhip. I ended up finding the snake on the other side of the yard coiled under a tree. They had a black tail in there yard a few weeks back. They have a drainage behind there home that leads right to south mountain preserve. There yard was well maintained and trimmed up. |

Phoenix | 85024 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Western diamondback found by outside AC drip line and near outside hose in backyard. Homeowner said he was 1 foot away turning off the hose and did not see snake before it rattled. It scared him a lot. This is the 4th rattlesnake in 10 years. Though he does keep his yard and plants trim at the bottom, he does have many plants and a waterfall while living right next to a natural desert preserve. He is interested in fencing. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Homeowner has a stained glass door with a long, shaded entryway into a courtyard. This snake was seen in that area (as was the first snake i removed here on a previous visit). It looks like a good place to get out of the heat. The yard itself has lots of plants and bushes and there are rodent burrows. The snake had moved to one of these and coiled nearby. |

The front and back yards had extensive plants of various heights with drip systems. I searched the entire property for additional snakes and found none. Rattlesnake fencing would not be viable for this yard as the walls are incomplete and some portions open to the desert. |

Casa Grande | 85122 | Sidewinder, delete | The homeowner saw the snake coiled by his front door. Yesterday they saw a sidewinder slither by the same door. From the video they took it appeared to be a bigger one than the one I got for them today. I looked around and didn’t find anything else. They had chickens running around the back yard with food spread all over the ground. They also had a garden with melons everywhere. They had a lot of vegetation around. They were also surrounded by wide open desert. |

Casa Grande | 85122 | Longnosed Snake | The homeowner saw the snake in front of her stove. She was able to place a bucket over the snake. Yesterday she sprayed her whole house with bug spray. The snake may have ingested some of that because it was not doing too great. I rinsed the snake off when I relocated it, but it was barely moving. I’m not sure it’s going to make it. The homeowner had a big gaps under her front door like half inch gap. Her complex had some fields and desert across the street. |

Arizona City | 85123 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | I went to this home yesterday for an inspection because there dog had been bitten by a rattlesnake the night before. I did not find the snake yesterday but they had a big shed in the back yard which I suspected the snake retreated to. There was no seeing or even being able to get the snake out from under the shed with it intact. Today they decided to take down the big shed and under the floor board the snake was coiled up. There was a snake skin under there and a large rodent hole. I flooded out the hole and no one else came out. The home only really had this shed for cover in the yard. This community has a lot of natural desert surrounding it. |

Scottsdale | 85259 | Kingsnake | Called us for a western diamondback rattlesnake and a kingsnake. He had a video of both in the courtyard. The fire department apparently came before we did and caught the rattlesnake, but the guy told them to put it back so I could get it, because the fire department told him they were only going to take it down the street. I searched the area extensively and flooded out the gaps between the paver patio and the wall, and flooded out two kingsnakes, but the rattlesnake was nowhere to be found. It could still be under that patio because the under-cavity is pretty extensive, but since it was harassed by the fire department, it could have left. There was about 20 minutes of him not watching it before I got there. |

Scottsdale | 85259 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner noticed the snake coiled by the front door in the shade. The snake was in an inclosed courtyard but the door to the courtyard had gaps. It was very cool in there and they had a fountain. There was a big wash across the street that led to even more desert. He didn’t want the back checked so I’m not sure what was going on back there. This was a gravid female. |
