Mesa 85215 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This was at a public storage facility. The guy went into his storage unit yesterday and saw the rattlesnake sitting on top of some boxes. He was hoping it would leave but he went back today and it was still there. There is a big chunk of weather stripping missing on the garage door so that’s how the snake got in. He says he only goes about three times a year he was only grabbing Christmas stuff.

11:30 AM
Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner moved a pot in her back yard and the neonate rattlesnake was under it. There was a little boulder by the pot with a rodent hole dug under it. I’m guessing the snake was using that as its winter spot and was just out today because it’s a nice day. The home has a view fence with a wash behind it.

Tucson 85750 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake sitting below gate that lead to backyard. When i arrived snake was in same place as discussed on phone. It was a very easy capture. I also inspected the backyard that was primarily blocked in. Entry would have been through a single gate, double gate or a drain section. I mentioned fencing, wasn't interested at the moment but said he would give us a call if it happened again (it will). End of report.

12:30 PM
Cave Creek 85262 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The pest control guy was checking the rodent traps when he saw the big western Diamondback under the grill clamped. The snake was clamped in two spots. The snake unfortunately had died. It was ice cold and not moving. It didn’t seem like it had died to long ago so I still put it in a pack rat nest. The snake froze to death because it couldn’t escape the clamps. The homeowner saw the same snake a week ago when it snuck in their garage while it was open. They just showed it out. The yard has a view fence and is surrounded by desert. They will be renting the house out and want fencing.

Fountain Hills 85268 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Earlier today, the homeowner heard a rattling sound in his garage, but was unable to locate the source. Later, while in the garage again, he heard the noise once more. Despite his efforts to search through the clutter in the space, he was unable to spot the snake. Eventually, with the help of some rearranged items, the snake was discovered. It was a baby rattlesnake that had likely entered the garage through the gaps in the side of the garage door. The home is located in an area with suitable habitat for desert animals.

Phoenix 85048 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake I was at this house a few nights ago for this snake. It had went under a cement slab and I couldn’t see it. I was going to have to water it out but it was night time and the temperatures were dipping into the 30’s. I didn’t want to freeze the snake, so I told her I’d come back. We were hoping it would come out on its own but it didn’t so I watered it out, but during the day. After about 15 minutes it came out. This home is on the side of south mountain and just surrounded by desert.

It was almost tucked away in a drain pipe but I managed to snag it before it got away. They want fencing but it will be a hard fence to do because it is so low in certain areas and some parts are just boulders for the fence. The back right up to a rocky hill side.
