10:30 AM		 Florence 85132 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Facility in Florence called about a rattlesnake that they had captured and put into a bucket. The Western Diamondback was slithering through their main office parking lot when they noticed it. Relocated snake across the road into a packrat nest at the base of a large palo verde tree.

He then lost sight of it, but it was right next to a rocky waterfall feature, so he figured it went inside there. I shinned my light in there and I saw it. I was able to put my tongs in there and grab it. The home backed up to a mountainside, and another mountainside was across the street. The yard itself didn’t have any vegetation or cover in it besides this water fall feature.

5:00 PM		 Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Caller spotted the snake after walking by it numerous times. When I arrived it was pancaked by a tree. He was likely enjoying the moist ground. The snake was removed without incident.

6:00 PM		 New River 85087 Gila Monster The homeowner called about a Gila Monster on his porch. The rural New River Property sat on a half-acre lot and was surrounded by hilly native desert. He had a very large chicken coop that housed various types of fowl in addition to chickens. He insisted that the Gila Monster would not have been able to enter the enclosure. The man had his own snake tongs and while I was route, he put the lizard into a bucket out of fear that it would escape to his neighbor's property and be killed. No other reptiles were found.

9:30 PM		 Anthem 85086 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Received a call regarding a baby rattlesnake front yard. Arrived at home and was greeted outside by customer who was keeping watch on it. I observed a small juvenile atrox against a landscaping boulder in the front yard. Snake had three segments on its tail. Customer stated he first saw the snake stretched out along the sidewalk and when he saw it the snake made its way to his front yard where it stayed against the boulder. Inspected the rest of the property and no other snakes found. Desert was ran along the backside of customers property with the nearest entrance being four houses east of his. I suspect the snake was just moving along when it was spotted and went into customers front yard. In conversation customer disclosed recent life circumstances and I did not feel offering snake fencing was appropriate at the time.

11:00 PM		 Phoenix 85044 Sonoran Gophersnake Received a call about a snake in a garage. The customer stated the snake had been in the garage for over a week. The customer bought snake repellent online and admitted it must not have worked well. The customer texted me a picture and I confirmed it was a Sonoran gopher snake. Arrived at the home and was met by the customer outside of her garage. She pointed out the snake that was under a shoe rack against the back wall of the garage. Captured a snake with my hands with no issue. Snake was a medium-sized juvenile. Inspected the rest of the garage no other snakes found. Inspected the garage door seal and it seemed in good shape. I suspect the snake made its way into the garage at some point when it was open.

10:30 AM		 Glendale 85310 Sonoran Gophersnake Client called with the report of a large snake in the backyard. Upon arrival I was able to determine that it was a gopher snake, and it was very deceased. It was already full of maggots and falling apart. I reluctantly scooped up as much as I could of it and put it in my bucket to dispose. No other snakes were removed.

11:30 AM		 Phoenix 85085 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake A staff member called with a report of a rattlesnake. It was located in the same vicinity as we usually remove them from this property. It was moving away from the door and was beside an agave plant when I arrived. I was able to remove the snake without incident. No other snakes removed at this time.

1:00 PM		 Tucson 85748 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Fencing customer who had recently seen two male Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes performing male combat in the yard, called about another snake. This was a skinny, older adult, female Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. The snake had hidden herself in a drainpipe poking out from a gravel bed beneath a paver. I set a hose running into the pipe at a low setting until she emerged and began to crawl towards some trash bins. The snake was placed into a bucket.

3:00 PM		 Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner stated they noticed the rattlesnake curled up in the corner of a shaded gravel area at the front of her home as she was going to work on her bench project, which she had left there to dry. When I arrived she was able to direct me right to where it was perfectly blended in to the gravel against the home as described. The rattlesnake was easily captured and contained in the bucket. The home is located within a gated community of homes with very naturalistic desert-type landscaping and large yards with lots of desert foliage, the community sits very close to the nearby Regional Park.

3:30 PM		 Anthem 85086 Sonoran Gophersnake The client called with a report of an unknown snake that was seen entering a PVC pipe by the pool equipment. I was able to see the head of the snake when I arrived and confirmed it was a Gophersnake. With the assistance of the homeowner, we were able to effectively push the snake out of one end of the pipe. No other snakes were recovered during inspection. The homeowner has some existing fencing installed by the previous homeowner, but he would like to have the fencing team out to fix some holes in the existing fencing.

5:00 PM		 Cave Creek 85331 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The client called with a report of a rattlesnake on the back patio. They were able to keep an eye on it until I arrived. The snake had traveled to the far side of the home by the time I arrived. I was able to remove it without incident. The homeowners have a very low view fence. I advised them to install snake fencing. They are “on the fence” about fencing. I told them I would have the fencing team reach out so they at least have the option going forward.

7:30 PM		 Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Rattlesnake was in the front yard in a bougainvillea bush. The homeowner had a recent influx of rattlesnakes this year due to nearby construction. She was bitten by one on her property many years ago while dragging her dog away from the snake. Interested in snake fencing. Concrete wall all around the property with 1 RV gate and 1 side gate. She is worried about the concrete not being level underneath RV gate but it did not look like it was uneven to my eyes or anything out of the norm but just a heads up.

9:00 AM		 Cave Creek 85331 Sonoran Gophersnake 2 snakes were called in. The snakes did separate, so the homeowner could not watch both, but knew their general areas. I found the adult in some lantana in their side yard. There was apparently a baby with it that went into the desert area next to their home but I could not find it. Spent time educating on coexisting in the future and that we are available 24/7 to identify a snake for them via the hotline and texting a photo. They never plan to fence their property.

11:00 AM		 Cave Creek 85331 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Caller reported a rattlesnake crawling along the outside of their fence. They managed to spray the snake with a hose to get it to fall into the desert but it continued toward the front of the house, prompting them to call us. The snake remained there until I arrived and was removed without incident. A courtesy inspection was completed and no additional snakes were found. The snake was likely attracted by the water fish

11:00 AM		 Waddle 85355 Mojave Rattlesnake A real estate company called from a new development and reported a small/baby Rattlesnake in the front entrance of the model home. The very kind agent felt comfortable enough to place a wire trash can over the small snake and place a rock over top before we could get out to them, she even took lengths to pour water on the sides for the snake during its wait for relocation. Once I had arrived I was directed to the shaded entrance where the snake was contained, and lifted the trash can to gently transfer the rattlesnake into the bucket for transport. I walked around the rest of the model home and inspected for further snakes with no others found. The community is full of new construction within an ideal desert habitat running along the White Tanks Preserve area.

11:30 AM		 Cave Creek 85331 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowners have used our services before and they called today with a report of 2 rattlesnakes. They were able to keep track of one, however, the 2nd snake was unable to be located. I found the pipe where the snakes were overwintering and sharing the space with rodents. I used water to attempt to draw anything out but only a packrat made its way out.

11:30 AM		 Cave Creek 85262 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Snake was found in backyard under some bushes and they have 2 large dogs. They were able to watch the snake for me and it stayed in one place rattling at them the whole time. Homeowners were relieved the snake would be ethically relocated as they didn't want any harm to come to it. Home with some view fencing but they are happy to live with the desert wildlife and do not want any changes/rattlesnake fencing. They usually coexist if they find nonvenonous snakes in the backyard or rattlesnakes out front.

They have their own fencing that came with the house and they pile up bricks to block entry areas in the block wall. They are happy with their setup and do not wish to pursue professional rattlesnake fencing despite education.

12:30 PM		 Cave Creek 85331 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Caller reported a large snake of some kind in the backyard amongst the many potted plants she was watering. Upon arrival, I was able to locate the small juvenile WDB between 2 potted succulent plants. The snake was removed without incident. No other snakes were recovered during inspection.

4:30 PM		 Tucson 85742 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The customer was leaving to meet someone when they saw a snake on the front porch. They called us and when I arrived I found the snake coiled in a corner and was able to capture it. The snake was a yearling Western Diamondback Rattlesnake.

5:00 PM		 Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Caller reported a rattlesnake that was discovered courtesy of her dog alerting her to its presence. The client was able to maintain visual from inside through a sliding glass door until I arrived. The snake was very agitated but was removed without incident. No other snakes were recovered during inspection. The client has requested rattlesnake avoidance training for her dog.

There was a neighborhood party going on watching the snake and I was able to pass out flyers. House next to natural desert wash. Snake taken out of the community and relocated into desert preserve.

6:00 PM		 Tucson 85718 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This family had heard the dog barking and then noticed a rattlesnake on the back porch. When I arrived, I found an adult, apparent male Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled and rattling. Directly above the snake on a porch pillar was a screech owl watching the snake. Apparently, this owl is a fixture there as there is a hollow in the support post that they sleep in during the day.

9:00 PM		 San Tan 85143 Kingsnake The homeowners called the hotline right after being delivered food, the delivery driver informed them they had a \"rattlesnake\" sitting behind a decoration by their front door. They were afraid to check around any further due to the potential of a misstep by doing so since it was noted to be so close to the doorway. When I arrived I immediately walked to the front door where the animal was noted to be last seen, right away to my pleasant surprise it was an adult kingsnake stretched perfectly across the doorstep looking upwards, I picked the snake up and contained it in the bucket, while doing so I heard little chirping sounds I couldn\'t quite pinpoint. After knocking on the door the homeowners pointed out the nest of baby birds within their front door wreath, and explained this was the second year the momma bird had nested there successfully. It was then very clear that the kingsnake was looking up with the intent to get to that bird nest for it\'s door dashed dinner as well. I followed up by inspecting the property which has clean minimal and well maintained landscaping with a solid block wall for fencing and explained it would be easy to have the fencing team Rattlesnake proof their yard which they were very thankful and interested in. The home is on the end of a small community that is centered in and surrounded by open desert and agricultural land.

9:30 PM		 Scottsdale 85259 Longnosed Snake The homeowner called us about a possible Coral Snake at her home in Scottsdale. I arrived to find that the snake had already found a small hole on the side of the home near an air conditioning unit. I flooded the hole with water until a very cold and wet longnosed snake emerged. At the request of the homeowner, the snake was removed. This property is located in the middle of a gated community just north of a large open stretch of native desert. It was heavily landscaped with a water feature. No other snakes were found.

9:30 AM		 Sun City 85351 Mojave Rattlesnake The homeowner went to take out his trash last night and spotted the snake under his trash can. This is an underground trash can, so he was just under the lid. This morning he still spotted the snake under the lid so he gave us a call. It started to heat up in that time the snake must have tried to get into some deeper cover and it fell into the trash can, so it could not get out at that point. I was able to grab it and save a gecko that fell in as well. The home was right by a drainage that leads to the open river bottom.

7:00 PM		 Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner was cleaning up after her dog in a corner of her back yard when she nearly stepped on a Western Diamondback. After calling us, she watched it move from the back yard to the front yard and into a bush. The bush had a packrat nest inside of it and she asked that I remove the bush in order to get to the nest. I removed both the bush and the nest but did not find the snake. I then moved to a large non native cactus which was also near where they had seen the snake. I began to flood the area under the cactus and eventually spotted and was able to remove the snake. The woman was extremely upset and stressed during the entire service, which ended up taking several hours. She wasn't upset with us, just at the situation, which was made worse because it was getting late. After capturing the snake, I took a look at the fence. I did not find a single place where I thought a snake could enter the property. She is having renovations done to the home so there is a handyman moving in and out of the gate on a regular basis. But this woman has a service dog and is extremely careful about the gate being closed at all times.

The snake moved while on route, but the homeowner watched it carefully and was able to point at a bush alongside the property between two homes where the snake was resting. Easy capture. Searched the rest of the property found no other animals and advised on some minor modifications to prevent access.

They watched the snake periodically while I drove to the home for capture and relocation. When I arrived the rattlesnake was as described curled up in the side of the garage and was easily placed into the bucket for relocation. The home is nestled amongst several other agricultural-style plots in a thriving and vast desert habitat with several vegetated washes running through the neighborhood and dirt roads.

9:30 PM		 Phoenix 85085 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Received a call regarding a rattlesnake in a backyard. Arrived at the home and customers greeted me outside the gate as they were keeping an eye on it. Entered the side yard to the west of the home and observed an adult male atrox in a defensive posture. Snake did not stop rattling for the entire encounter. Inspected the rest of the yard. Yard well kept and tidy for the most part with some weeds against the home that I advised to keep trimmed back. Customers stated they have 3 large dogs and children in the home. I offered a free fencing quote and they agreed. I suspect the snake entered the yard from the gate that I entered which was the closest access point from any habitat. Brick wall surrounding the entire yard with lattice brick for drainage on the east side yard and the gate on the west side yard.

8:00 AM		 Tucson 85715 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This homeowner had seen this rattlesnake coiled on his front porch over a stretch of days and had hoped she would leave on her own. He once tried gently yeeting her away from the yard but she returned the next day. It was 62 degrees when I arrived and the snake was sluggish. She was coiled a foot or so away from the front door in an oddly exposed position. The snake was a 1-2-year-old apparently female Western Diamondback Rattlesnake.

It was headed toward a large prickly pear cactus with a massive pack rat nest in it. He used a hose to keep the snake from getting in there and it coiled under a nearby bush instead. The home was really close to the state trust land but it seemed like the snake had planned on using that pack rat nest for the day.

3:00 PM		 Mesa 85212 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This was at a sports complex. They had an obstacle course with a bridge and they heard the snake rattle at them from under the bridge. I was able to grab the large diamondback from under the bridge. On the side of this part of the complex was a small piece of desert but unfortunately it was being bulldozed. The complex was all soccer fields and courts. Very little desert left.
