Then he ran away but let the pole stay on the snakes tail pinning it there. The snake may have broken a few bones but it seemed to be moving just fine when I released it. Their yard doesn’t have a fence and is open. They do have vegetation but it is well kept and pretty much as clean as you can get a yard. They are surrounded by desert and may get a fence one day.

Phoenix 85050 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Neonate Western diamondback found in the loading dock of building four at the complex. Snake can’t be much more than a week old, so I double-checked the surrounding area for more snakes or possibly the mother, but found no other snakes. When I arrived the snake was already scooped up into a dust bin, with the security guard watching. The security guard stated he was not the one to find or scoop up the snake, was unsure of where it originally came from. Making it harder to narrow down the places to look for other babies.
