Tucson 85748 Sonoran Gophersnake Customer called about unknown snake species found in backyard. She sent me a photo and I identified it as a Sonoran gophersnake. I talked with her about the benefits of gophersnakes, and that they were harmless. She insisted it be removed due to her phobia of snakes. So I responded. I found the snake crawling between the power outlet and a trash bin. I captured the snake and released it immediately after. End of report.

Tucson 85750 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake heard somewhere in his massive boulder pile in backyard. When I arrived I was directed to the area where the rattle was heard. While looking in rock pile in noticed black and white banding in the back of a narrow tunnel covered by a massive bush. My tongs would not fit in gap. I utilized customers garden hose. The snake went down a deeper layer of tunnel. I contacted to flood the area. I went to side of rock pile and saw it gliding through the tunnel. I brought the hose to that section and flooded. It then slowly came out of first tunnel that started flooding. I was able to gently gain control of the 2 1/2 foot western diamondback with my tongs and gently placed in my bucket. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about a small rattlesnake found near his outdoor pool equipment. Once I arrived I was directed immediately to the snake which was sitting coiled underneath a large umbrella. I moved the umbrella and the snake began slithering away. I used my tongs to catch the Rattlesnake. The snake was only about 12 inches. I did an inspection of property as a precaution for anymore. No further finds. End of report.

Tucson 85641 None Small rattlesnake seen in backyard last night. Crawled under a large Bush when customer engaged it in an effort to pick it up and toss over the wall with a shovel. Didn't call until this morning, thinking no one would come out.. A sizable fencing job as there are bunches of little drainage holes in a wall that mostly is contained. Multiple gates would need to be addressed as well as a couple of expansion joints. Customer is unsure weather or not he'll have you address the courtyard where the main issue is another gate and some expansion joints. He was excited that the snake had left hole, and there was actually 2. I grabbed a second bucket to keep them separated before relocations were done. Tucson 85741 Sonoran Gophersnake Customer called about massive snake that killed a rabbit in her yard. The snake killed the rabbit and left it, probably because the rabbit was too big to consume. I identified the snake as a Sonoran gophersnake. The client was informed about the gophersnake being harmless but still wanted it removed. When I arrived I found the 6+ foot gophersnake lying underneath a grapefruit tree next to small plant and drip system. I captured the snake and released it immediately afterwards. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake in her courtyard area. When I arrived they had lost sight of it but knew it was still on courtyard because both areas of entry were being watched by homeowners. I began searching in the courtyard filled with massive bushes. I noticed a hole leading underneath and into there massive rock Pilar. I inspected the bush nearby and got down to look inside. I immediately saw the snake that retreated back fat into the massive pillar. I used a garden hose to flood it out. It did work. The snake cane out. But I was unable to get a clear grab. The snake then bolted into another hole on same pilar. So I had to flood it out again. The snake then crawled up into there flower pot where I had to grab it quickly so it would not get away. I finally gained control of the 2 foot western diamondback. Snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.

So I responded without confirmation. When I arrived I was directed to the area of the snake. I knew immediately by seeing it that it was a Sonoran gophersnake. Tucson 85747 Kingsnake Customer called about unknown snake species that went up into her vines. I told her without a picture it would not be able to identify. As a precaution she wanted me to come out. When I arrived at the home she told me she found a picture of the snake that she thought it was. She showed me a picture of an Arizona Black Rattlesnake. Due to the geographical area we were in, it would be impossible to be one. (Unless escaped pet). I told her it’s more then likely a Kingsnake. She still wanted me to find it and remove it. After about 20 minutes looking through vines I finally found the snake. About 7 feet in vines. I grabbed it and placed it in my bucket. End of report.
