She sent it to my phone and I was able to identify it as a harmless Kingsnake. Regardless she wanted it out of her yard. She has an extremely bad phobia even with facts on the snake. I responded and caught the snake crawling up her bars outside her bedroom window. End of report. |

Tucson | 85710 | Sonoran Gophersnake, Sonoran Gophersnake | Customer called about rattlesnake that was 20 feet up in tree. They way she described the snake did. It seem fitting to be a rattlesnake. I asked her to send photo, but her flip phone was unable to. I responded to home in 14 minutes. When I arrived I saw the first snake crawling down tree trunk of large mesquite tree. It was a gophersnake. About 5 1/2 feet. They also said there was a second up about 20 feet sitting on branch. It began moving after I captured first one. It finally came down tree trunk like the first one making it easier to capture. I used the opportunity to capture the animal and educate the homeowners about them. They both agreed that they would have thrown rocks at them and attempted to kill the snakes had I not responded. So fortunately I was able to get them both to a more natural setting. End of report. |

Was able to get it. An easy fencing job as there is only one or two expansion joints, one drainage hole and one gate that seems to already be mostly secure. I also suggested that some of the vegetation on the outside of the wall be cut back. |

Tucson | 85710 | Coachwhip | Customer called about large pink snake twisted and stuck in plastic mesh material. When I responded I saw the snake fortunately moved into shade from customer. The head and neck area were completely tangled in nettting. I used a scissors and slowly began cutting material off. Once I got to the head I gently gripped a bit behind the neck. The snake remained minimally stressed during the whole process. The snake was freed and released immediately afterwards. End of report. |

When I arrived the snake was not there because the neighbor thought it would be smart to spray it with a hose prior to my arrival. I looked over her wall and saw it coiled under a rack of metal bars. It was pretty dense in the corner with the plant, i had to use my hook to slide snake from underneath plant. I then used my tongs to capture the very defensive snake. Tucson | 85750 | Coachwhip | Customer called for identification of large black snake seen under there recycling bin. I responded that it was a non venomous coachwhip. They decided in best interest because of a high golfers of snakes that they wanted it removed regardless of venomous or not. I responded and was directed to the area. I moved the recycling bin to gain gain control of the snake. It immediately began striking at me. I used my tongs because of the size of snake and defensive behavior the snake was using. I used my hook to give support to the upper half of the snake. I finally got the snake in the bucket. I did a courtesy inspection with no further finds. The snake was released immediately afterwards. I went into a deep hole under an old concrete staircase. I used a garden hose and flooded area for about 5 minutes. From a safe distance I looked into hole with my flashlight and saw the 2 and a half foot western diamondback drinking water that I was using to flood it out with. I directed water flow to go to tunnel behind the snake. I used my tongs to move hose. It worked. The snake slowly slithered out so I was able to capture the snake. End of report |
