Sun City 85373 Nightsnake The homeowner woke up to her living room being a mess from her cat. She noticed her cat trying to catch something then saw it was a snake. She put a trash bin over it not knowing what it was. It was a nightsnake and was not harmed by the cat. The doors were all sealed well but she does leave the back patio open sometimes for the cat. She lives off a golf course and has a little desert behind her .

Phoenix 85044 Nightsnake Homeowner called with a potential baby rattlesnake by the side gate/ front patio. The homeowner had two dogs and was scared that they might get bitten. After just a few minutes of searching around the side gate I noticed a very thin tail sticking out from underneath the side door of the garage. I was able to secure the desert nightsnake and relocated just off the trail in a heavily covered wash down the street.

I explained that it was completely harmless, but she wanted it removed from her home. When I arrived, they had it cornered with a dustpan. After monitoring it for a few minutes to ensure that it was not harmed, I removed it from the home.

They managed to sweep the tiny Nightsnake out onto the driveway without harming it and kept an eye on it until I arrived. The snake was likely using their garage for the winter. Released snake into a small rock pile in the wildlife preserve that borders the neighborhood.

Customer pointed out a debris pile on patio and said it went into there. Utilized tongs to search under the pile and noted a decent sized nightsnake to come out. Captured snake with hands and provided customer education on the species. Customer was okay with releasing it back into property. Inspected the area a bit more but no other snakes found.

Marana 85743 Mojave Rattlesnakes Called out for a rattlesnake near the front porch. Found at the base of a medium sized bush.38" Mojave Rattlesnake 4bwith a slight taper. Did a courtesy inspection and found a second Mojave coiled in ambush by side wall. 26" 7c. Call for an easy fence referral as the main entry to the back is the gate. Gaps on either side of the house between the wall and house will also need to be addressed.

Florence 85132 Mojave Rattlesnake, Sidewinder They were clearing some land with an excavator when the driver said he ran over a snake nest and 30 snakes came out and started to attack the tires. Then the snakes all scattered and or got buried. When I got there I found a dead Mojave and a dead sidewinder both had been run over. There is a good chance more got buried and or went to nearby brush, but I didn’t see any more snakes. There is a lot of desert around both disturbed and un disturbed.

Moments away from making it under the house. Not a candidate for fencing, but would like a call from the dog aversion training person. Between Derek`s and my calls another rattlesnake was killed on the property.

Sun City 85351 Mojave Rattlesnake Owner stated recent construction directly behind her house along Agua Fria riverbed likely drove snake into her yard though decorative opening in block fence. Inspected property, concurred, advised owner to cover those openings and neighbors do same. Snake was originally sighted under patio chair, had moved to side of house under chain link gate. Relocated further north along riverbed to nearest safe heavy cover.

Marana 85743 Mojave Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake under porch. When I arrived the snake was not in same spot as discussed. While searching with my flashlight underneath the porch the customer screamed and said it was on opposite side. I immediately rushed to area. I saw the snake and identified it as a Mojave rattlesnake. Once the snake saw me coming it attempted to flee underneath the porch again. Luckily I was able to capture the snake before it got underneath which would have made it difficult to get. End of report.

When I arrived snake remained in same place as found with the customers closely watching it from a safe distance. I immediately identified the snake for them and captured it with my tongs and gently placed it in my bucket. I went through entire yard looking for others and also educating the homeowners on different snake species they may come across in the area. End of report.

Tucson 85747 Mojave Rattlesnake Customer called about a rattlesnake found near front door by flower pot. They said they did not have visual of the snake but wanted me to come to be sure. When I arrived I saw the snake sticking its head out. I captured the snake and relocated it immediately afterwards. Once the snake was captured I checked through property to insure the customers had a better piece of mind and also educated them on different snake species and how to reduce chances of having snakes.
