Avondale | 85339 | Coachwhip | The homeowner was having trouble with her dryer so she pulled it out to inspect it. When she took the tube off the back she could see a snake sticking out. The snake was a coachwhip and its bottom half was stuck on something in the dryer. I’m not sure if by her turning it on made it get tangled but it appeared to have a broken back and I’m not sure it’ll survive. This was a three-foot snake, and the vent on the outside of the home was on the ground, and the cover fell off. That’s how it got in. There was a lot of desert surrounding this house. |

Goodyear | 85338 | Coachwhip | Early in the day the realtor was showing the house when a snake slithered by and went under the coach. It had been several hours so I wasn’t sure where it would be. It was still in the living room just hanging out up against the wall by the tv stand. It seemed like the juvenile coachwhip snuck in while the door was open. The home has a good piece of desert across the street. |

Phoenix | 85083 | Coachwhip | This is at an assisted living facility. One of the guest spotted a small snake slither under the tv stand in the home. It was a baby coachwhip. They leave doors open while they go in and out with walkers and wheel chairs so it probably snuck in that way. The home is really close to a rocky mountain side. |

11:30 AM |
Scottsdale | 86260 | Coachwhip | The homeowner called about a snake in the garage. When I arrived, I saw a coachwhip next to the freezer. The garage was cluttered, so my initial grab was unsuccessful and the snake retreated underneath the expansion joint in the concrete. When I lifted the joint, I could see a small part of the snake in the gap while the rest was under the garage floor slab. I poured some water into the joint to get the snake to move and reveal himself a bit more. Given the tight space, I had to improvise and used some crazy straws I found in the garage to wedge the snake out, and I was finally able to grab him. |

Fort McDowell | 85264 | Coachwhip | The homeowner had the garage door open while she was outside, and the snake slithered in. She thought it was a rattlesnake. She shut the garage, and when I arrived I saw the coachwhip behind some items in the garage. This home has a lot of surrounding desert and is also a horse property. She was going to keep the snake but decided it was better to relocate it just down the road. |

Phoenix | 85048 | Coachwhip | The homeowner said she saw a rattlesnake in her back yard trying to climb the back wall. I was suspicious of this activity since rattlesnakes dont tend to do this and it’s 111 degrees out. When I got there I showed her pictures and we narrowed it down to a coachwhip. I ended up finding the snake on the other side of the yard coiled under a tree. They had a black tail in there yard a few weeks back. They have a drainage behind there home that leads right to south mountain preserve. There yard was well maintained and trimmed up. |

Mesa | 85207 | Coachwhip | The homeowner went into the garage and saw a snake inside. She tried to get it out, but while doing so, the snake slithered up into her wheel well. She had the garage door shut, so it was trapped inside. When she opened the garage, the snake was right by the door, trying to get out. I was able to grab it without any issues. She did have a small gap in the garage door, but she also had it open earlier, so it could have snuck in that way. Her property backs up to a lot of desert. |

It was clean and wide open, with a small pool and almost no landscaping. He did request to be contacted about fencing. |
