Interstate was all backed up and it took me an extra long time to arrive. The snake had left minutes after I was called, but the customer wanted me to come and look despite these factors. Found about 40 yards from original sighting coiled against the side of the house in an attempt to escape the rain. A very easy fencing job as there is one gate and two drainage holes. When I arrived she directed me to the snake that she had been keeping an eye on. I immediately identified it as a harmless baby longnose. I captured it and relocated it shortly after.
