Around the wall is a lot of built-up clutter, including brick and wood piles, a garden, several old, large brush piles, and a chicken coop. The two dogs are a large breed, but very nice. I found the snake under a pallet near where the dogs had seen it earlier. I then walked the property but did not find any other snakes.

I had been out to this property only six days prior and removed a Western Diamondback from the exact same spot. This time it was a Sidewinder. The property sits on about an acre of land and has a lot of clutter including large piles of wood and brush. There is a block wall surrounding the entire yard, but it has drain holes spaced about every 5 or 10 feet, and there are several gates that are always open. Across the street is a large section of State Trust Land. The homeowner puts out watering dishes around the yard so that the rabbits and quail can drink. She told me that she doesn\'t mind the snakes, which she often sees, but that if her husband finds them, he will kill them. There are also two Great Horned Owls that regularly roost in the tree that the snake was found under, so this was not at all a safe place for the snake to spend any amount of time. No other snakes were found.

Having located the snake, I was able to identify it as a tiger rattlesnake, which could’ve come from the area behind the backyard, which is full of large rocky terrain, where Tiger rattlesnakes are normally found. The surrounding area where the snake was found is open desert outside of the fence of the backyard. The snake was able to be safely removed and relocated.

Arrived at a brand-new complex that wasn’t there last year and met callers outside in the parking lot. Callers had a stockpot on top of the snake. Removed the pot and noted a neonate atrox. Used large tweezers to capture and bucket with no issue. Performed a brief inspection of the immediate area and no other snakes were found.

The other was found in their pool. The front yard had desert landscaping with some bushes that could be trimmed higher but it was pretty minimalistic. Encouraged her not to leave her garage door open unattended. Checked the garage and backyard and no other babies were found. Dog is already trained by Rattlesnake Ready.

When I arrived it was still under them and next to the house. I got the snake in the bucket and checked out the rest of the backyard. This yard had minimal entry points given that it was a 5-foot-tall brick wall around the yard with no weep holes except for one on the side of the house. The other entry point was their gate on the opposite side. This yard was well kept and I was glad the husband kept up with his lantanas. There was one leaky pipe but other than that there was not much drawing snakes in. However since there were only two entry points, the snake may have been there for a while under the plants. The area was very developed so the snake could have been just passing through and got somewhat "stuck" but decided it was a fine place to stay under the lantanas. They are interested in fencing and getting the single weep hole and the gate taken care of.

When I arrived, the snake was in the exact same spot. This was certainly not the first snake that he had seen on the property, and not the first time we had been called out. The home is in a gated development on the side of a mountain and borders a large area of native desert. There is a large wash that cuts down the mountain just in front of the home. I searched the rest of the property and did not find any other snakes.

Gore & Associates campus called us after finding a rattlesnake coiled up in the shade near the back door of an office building. The snake had just consumed a large meal and had not moved from where it was discovered. The campus is located just east of the I-17 not far from the Sonoran Mountain Preserve. The immediate area surrounding the property is developed and has a lot of traffic, but there is also plenty of native desert close enough to be easily accessed by the snake.

It went into a rodent hole but only coiled up right in the entrance so I was able to grab it. The school itself did not have any vegetation or cover around. They had two large trees. This snake found the hole under that. The school was a block from South Mountain Preserve. They said they couldn’t pay so I just went and grabbed it.

I was a little surprised to get a rattlesnake call this far east of the White Tank Mountains. The property is located about a block away from Shadow Ridge High School on the edge of a development, with some undeveloped native Creosote scrub bordering the yard. The entire area will soon be completely developed. I asked about looking in the backyard, but the homeowner did not think it was necessary, as there was very little landscaping and no shade.

We’re not sure if this is a baby from one of those that was still stuck in the wall or not, but it could be. Was a neonate atrox, could very well have been from the neighbors.

Upon arrival the mom was secured first and then a total of eight babies. This house is located across the street from the preserve with a wash that runs nearby. It is surrounded by very high walls and gates leading to the backyard.

The homeowner opened the garage and the snake crawled inside where they placed a bucket on top of it. This is a new neighborhood with lots of surrounding desert and open access to the property.

The home is surrounded by open desert and has a preserve right across the street and is no stranger to rattlesnakes as they have had us out a few times before. The yard is large and has a perimeter view fence with no fencing so snakes have a lot of areas to hang out in the yard.

Having identified the snake they called for removal. The surrounding area of where the snake was located is a small strip patch of desert that separates two warehouses. The area in which the snake was found was an entrance bait into a warehouse that is comprised of concrete with no natural coverage.

The homeowner is out of town but her cleaning people saw a longnosed snake on top of a chlorine float in the pool yesterday. Because she was out of town and due to the time difference she didn’t reach out until the following day. The poor longnose was dead at the bottom of the skimmer. The fence and everything else in the yard looked good. She backs up to a golf course surrounded by desert.
2026-07-30 12:00 AM	Phoenix	85020	Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake	Received a call about a rattlesnake at Pointe Hilton. Arrived and met a security guard who escorted me to where the snake was. I observed a pyrrhus in ambush at the mouth of what appeared to be a deep cave into the mountain that was just outside of several room doors. There was a support pillar just in front of the cave, and the snake was at an awkward angle to approach directly. I chose to approach the snake from the side (least direct but closest access) and the snake slipped my tongs and went deep into the cave to where I was able to hear it rattle but not see the snake. Spent approximately 30 minutes observing the cave but snake did not come out. Informed the security guard to call the hotline if the snake returned. Received a dispatch later that the snake returned and I went back to the location. The snake was again in ambush on a different portion of the rock and was able to capture and bucket successfully. Performed a quick inspection of the area and no other snakes were found.

The home is surrounded by open desert so the snake likely wandered into the yard unintentionally and was unable to figure out a way to get back out into the desert.
2026-07-30 12:00 AM	Glendale	85310	Nightsnake	The owner of a home in Glendale called after seeing a small snake disappear behind the cabinets in his laundry room. I was able to use an endoscope and see that it was a small Nightsnake. The homeowner elected to remove several of the baseboards under the cabinets and I was eventually able to remove the snake. The home was in northern Glendale on a large lot. There was a fair amount of native habitat surrounding the property. It was a newer build and not entirely known how the snake entered the home.

The snake had tucked itself back under some debris while I was on my way but we were able to flood it out. This site is surrounded by open desert and has a ton of options for artificial cover and moisture for snakes to take advantage of.
2026-07-29 7:00 PM	Scottsdale	85255	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	This small western diamondback was sitting in the shade behind a garbage can on this homeowners side yard. The house backed up to open desert and the homeowner installed snake fencing had gaps in multiple locations. The snake was relocated just outside the neighborhood into a packrat nest.

The snake was located on her front porch under a mini fridge. I was able to safely extract the snake from under the fridge. The snake was relocated within a mile of the capture location into thick brush after dark.

It was verified as a baby coachwhip and was harmless. Upon arrival the snake was deceased and an inspection of the garage and entire yard was conducted. No other snakes were located.
2026-07-28 11:30 PM	Tucson	85756	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	Manager at Homegoods distribution center called to report a western diamondback rattlesnake near the main entrance of their building. I was able to locate the snake in a bush and safely capture it. It was relocated within a mile of the capture location into thick brush after dark.

They were moving large trees that were boxed up and noticed two rattlesnakes and a gophersnake under one. They accidentally killed one rattlesnake and the other two snakes went under another nearby tree that was going to be transported. They weren’t moving it until today, so I went out to see if the snakes were still underneath. When they lifted the tree, there was a gophersnake. It had been badly injured by the moving of the tree. It does not look like it will survive. No other snakes were seen today. This facility is surrounded by desert and a golf course.

She was letting her small dog out when she saw the snake near the sliding glass door, just before accidentally stepping on it. She was startled but the snake did not attempt to strike at her or her dog. The snake retreated behind a wicker couch where it stayed until I arrived. The home was across the street from a large mountain preserve, and the backyard was virtually empty. It was wide open with no landscaping. There was an RV gate on the side with a large gap underneath. The shade of the back porch and the wicker patio furniture were about the only cover available for the snake. I did not find any other snakes.

This was a shady and heavily landscaped back yard. There was DIY snake fencing around 3/4 of the yard. The fence that was shared with the next-door neighbor\'s, however, had only chicken wire installed. The home was on a golf course, but the surrounding area was open creosote flats. The snake was hiding behind some patio furniture when I arrived. No other snakes were found.

The snake had moved from the gated courtyard to the backyard and when I picked it up she said the gophersnake was the snake she thought was a rattlesnake. She has rodent issues so she opted to keep the snake around. The yard has some heavy vegetation in the front and is a corner home. The community has a fence around it but there is some desert beyond that.

Two brothers who live together. There is snake fencing that came with the house that looks unprofessional with many gaps and not adhered to the wall on the view fencing. Concrete block wall on the side of the house with one side gate (bricks piled underneath the side gate in an attempt to keep critters out). They would love a fencing quote as soon as possible.

They have had snakes before but did not want to have this problem anymore. They are very interested in rattlesnake fencing as soon as possible.
