When I arrived, the snake had retreated to a more shaded area in the wood pile. I moved a few of the logs that were hiding it. It was an easy capture. I also inspected yard with no additional finds. I was able to find it on the move when I arrived, captured it and relocated it safely. The homeowners inquired about fencing off their backyard. There were a few gates and a few drainage holes in a brick wall yard, except for a few portions of fence where the brick wall only came up about a foot or two and had chicken wire. Those portions would likely need to be completely fenced off as well as the drainage holes and the gates.
