Apparently, this owl is a fixture there as there is a hollow in the support post that they sleep in during the day.

Identifying the snake homeowner called to have it relocated. Upon arrival, the snake was identified to be deceased and removed off property. The surrounding area of where the snake was located is open desert between houses within the neighborhood where these snakes could take a refuge.

When I got there, I offered to take a Look around the general area as they’ve been previous customers before on multiple occasions finding rattlers, and I immediately found a second potentially gravid female within 5 feet of the other. The surrounding area of the home is open desert land with a minimum of 300 yards between each home. Both the front and backyard are exposed to an open desert scape.

10:30 AM		 Tucson 85718 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake I received a call from the homeowner stating he sees a rattlesnake via his doorbell camera. Homeowner was not home. I arrived on scene and found the snake next to a potted plant. I transferred the snake to my bucket via snake pole. Snake was apprehensive and hissed. Snake seemed to have broken off his rattler. Homeowners residence is heavily surrounded by desert area. Homeowners porch provides ample shade from the heat. I relocated the snake without incident. I cleared scene and returned in service.

No dogs were injured or bitten. She called us and the snake was in the corner of her front porch area next to some potted plants. I safely removed the snake and upon inspection noticed where the snake could have entered the property. They already had chicken wire along their fence but it had faults, homeowners declined a fence referral.

All that was found was a desert spiny lizard making loud noises moving around boxes. That may be the culprit to the noise. I was unable to determine what it was. It was very weathered and torn to pieces. She wanted a better piece of mind so she had me come out regardless of information provided. When I arrived I was directed to the snake skin. I was able to identify it as a non venomous gophersnake shed. I searched the yard in both front and back with no finds. I flipped and flooded any suspicious areas that I could. No finds. End of report.

9:30 AM		 Tucson 85716 Sonoran Gophersnake Customer called about rattlesnake in crawl space found by maintenance employee. When I arrived I immediately identified the snake as a Sonoran gophersnake. I captured the animal that appeared to have a neck injury. I searched for a second snake that disappeared into 1 of many cave systems under building. The customer seemed displeased that we were not able to find second “rattlesnake “. But I calmed her down telling her there is no possible way to find the second. End of report.

4:00 PM		 Tucson 85716 Longnosed Snake Customer called about a small snake found in her house. I initially went over there last night. But when I got there I watched the small snake that I identified as a longnose go up a pencil size hole in her back door. I tried everything I could to get it out with no luck. Etleast an hour and a half trying. Today she called me that the snake had left the hole and was hiding under her fan. She kept a close watch on the area until I arrived. She made a huge step in conquering her fear by keeping watch. Once I arrived I lifted the fan and was able to catch the snake. End of report.
