Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This customer has an outdoor fountain made of columnar basalt that he turns on throughout the day. For the last week, a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake has been sitting at the base of it getting a bath and a drink, and waiting for prey. The fountain is next to some large, broken stone landscaping. |

Tucson | 85741 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Mature atrox found in customers backyard near trash bins. Looks like it had been digesting a meal from a few days prior. Customer stated it was the first snake they had seen in three years that they had lived there. Very developed area near a wash but not much suitable habitat other than that. Nothing appealing about the customers backyard either so was likely just passing through or digesting. |

Tucson | 85718 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | I was notified by the homeowner that her dogs startled the western diamondback rattlesnake that found cover on their front porch. No dogs were injured or bitten. She called us and the snake was in the corner of her front porch area next to some potted plants. I safely removed the snake and upon inspection noticed where the snake could have entered the property. They already had chicken wire along their fence but it had faults, homeowners declined a fence referral. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Customer called to report a mating pair of western diamondback rattlesnakes on his back patio. The snakes had not moved by the time I arrived. When I exited the house onto the patio they decoupled and one of them tried to get away. I quickly secured both snakes. The yard has high exposure to the nearby desert. There is a block wall, but there are gaps that snakes can easily enter. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The customer called to report they had seen a large rattlesnake in their Arizona room earlier that morning, as the door had been left open. I arrived around midnight and the snake had left the room. After searching around the yard I was able to locate a large western diamondback rattlesnake which had climbed up into an ocotillo in the back yard. The yard is well guarded from the nearby desert with a lot of plants and places for snakes to hide. I spotted a small gap at one side-fence where the snake likely made entry and couldn't figure out how to leave. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was trimming a bougainvillea in her backyard when she noticed movement around the leaf litter at the roots. Recognizing a black-and-white ringed tail she called us to come get what she thought was a rattlesnake. Her dog had been bitten in this yard before. When I arrived i found what looked to be a 3-5 year old female Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled beneath the plant. I gently pulled at various coils to get her out and instead of rattling she just patiently pulled back. Eventually, she’d had enough and emerged from the shelter of the plant and began to rattle. This allowed me to gently put her into the bucket. |

Tucson | 85715 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | I arrived at the business to be greeted by the owner. The owner stated he went to turn on his front hose and the snake was coiled up right next to it. The homeowner thought the snake was dead but it was just getting some shade. I transferred the snake to my bucket via tongs without incident. This was at an animal boarding facility. I didn’t see many rodent holes on the premise so I believe he was trying to cool off and drink by the hose. I cleared the scene and relocated the snake. |

Tucson | 85742 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | I arrived on scene and was greeted by the homeowner. Homeowner stated he was taking bush trimmings away and stumbled upon the rattlesnake. The snake then made its way to the back yard. Homeowner lost eyes on the snake but had a general area of where it went. I looked in the general area and found the snake underneath a garden hose rack. Snake was calm and not aggressive. I transferred the snake into my bucket via snake pole. I did a property search and only found scorpions. No indication of rodent activity on the property. Homeowners did state they have a lot of pigeons the frequent the area. Homeowners do have a pool. Homeowners brick wall is meshed but their gate is not. I cleared scene and relocated the snake. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Sonoran Gophersnake | The homeowner went outside to let his dogs out and was quickly rattled by a diamondback. It slithered along the side of his house and with watching it he noticed a Sonoran gopher snake also along the wall. The gopher snake was small enough to enter a nearby shed but the diamondback was behind it when I got there. I bucketed the rattlesnake and then we emptied out the shed to quickly locate the gopher snake. Homeowners house is by a wash with metal fencing. He did accept the rattlesnake fencing referral. |

Tucson | 85704 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | I received a call from a previous customer stating that he was not home but his wife sees a rattlesnake. I arrived on scene and was greeted by the homeowner. The homeowner showed me the snakes location and I successfully transferred the snake to my bucket via snake pole. The homeowners are cleaning their carport to not attract anymore snakes. The previous snakes were found in the same spot weeks ago. Homeowners live in a very desert dense area with a lot of rodent activity. Homeowners are very familiar with snake activity around the area. I cleared the scene and relocated the snake. |

Tucson | 85730 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The customer called to report their dog had o found a rattlesnake in the backyard. He heard the snake rattle when he went out back but couldn't locate it so he called us. I showed up and was able to find the snake behind some wood sheets. The backyard has high exposure to nearby open desert and a wash. I advised on steps they could take to keep snakes out of the property. The customer later reported the dog had been bit and I recommended taking it to a vet as soon as possible. |

Tucson | 85747 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | A beautiful, chunky Western Diamondback Rattlesnake that looks like it might be 6 plus yrs old was quietly resting in the groundcover plants in this customers yard. She was fascinated that the snake wasn’t aggressive and that it didn’t rattle when placed in the bucket. The property had had some packrat nests removed recently. |

Tucson | 85747 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The customer called to report a neonate western diamondback rattlesnake in their backyard. The yard is on the far east side near new development and has high exposure to the nearby desert. Their dogs have been bitten more than once and with another snake in the backyard, they are interested in hearing from our fencing team. The yard is pretty well sealed off from the nearby desert with a few entry points, and they are good candidates for fencing. The snake was captured and released within its home range into thick cover after dark. |

The snake had settled in close to the front door and almost bit her. She called us, and I responded quickly and captured an agitated rattlesnake. Tucson | 85718 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Homeowner called to report that her dog had discovered a large western diamondback rattlesnake that had made its way into her backyard and was hanging around on her back patio. Luckily the dog seems aware that the snakes are dangerous and stayed a safe distance away. The house has very high exposure to the nearby desert, located on large plots of land with few homes in the area. The backyard has a block wall and two gates. One gate is a clear entry point for the snake, which is likely how it got in. She is interested in having our fencing team come out and assess the yard as this is the third rattlesnake found back there. |

Tucson | 85704 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This city park called because a snake was caught in chicken wire at their facility. The snake was struggling and had a deep wound from the fence that flies and ants were working on. I was able to free the large adult female Western Diamondback Rattlesnake and get her into the bucket safely. I will hold her in quarantine until she seems ok or not then the park will direct me to the spot they’d like her released (within homerange on park grounds). |

Tucson | 85730 | Nightsnake | Homeowner called, saying she found a small snake she thought was a baby rattlesnake. She noted that it had some diamonds on its back and that it was in her garage. She had left her garage open all day, so she thought it just slithered in during the day. When I arrived, I saw the snake in the corner of the garage, but it was indeed a night snake and not a rattlesnake. The homeowner was very terrified of snakes and wanted the snake removed regardless, even though I told her it was pretty harmless. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was remodeling his home when he took out a wall and saw a rattlesnake coiled inside. This is an old home and it has a basement. There was a hole on the outside of the stucco that allowed the rattlesnakes to get in. There ended up being two snakes, both snakes were coiled right by one another. He found two snakes skins further down the wall earlier. The home has nothing but miles of desert around it. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This lady was having work done in an underground room that had the water heater in it. The guy doing the work opened the door and instantly got rattled at. He dropped his things and got out of there. When I walked in the snake did rattle and then I saw it on a near by shelf about eye level. The snake had shed its skin down there and was probably getting cozy for winter. The home had a lot of desert around it and plenty of places on the property for a snake to hide, like a workshop that wasn’t sealed well and lots of stacked debris. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Sonoran Gophersnake | The homeowner saw a sidewinder in her backyard yesterday afternoon, but it had gone into a rodent hole by her chicken coop. She tried watering it out but it didn’t show its face again. Today she was watering it out again and she saw a head poke out and it ended up being a gophersnake so she kept that one. We never did see the sidewinder. She has a large acre lot but there isn’t any vegetation on it. She does have a shed and shipping container in the back yard that I looked under as best I could. The fence is all mesh around the yard. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Sidewinder | Rattlesnake observed at the job site near the delivery office. The crew had been watching it; it remained in the same spot for several hours before they decided to call. The listed address is inaccurate and was only used because it is the closest one to the site. The job site is in the early stages of construction and is surrounded by open desert on all sides, with no homes nearby. The sidewinder appeared to be a healthy female, though relatively small for its age (estimated to be several years old based on the rattle). It did not strike or rattle and seemed quite tired, though in my experience this species tends to be more docile when captured. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Mojave Rattlesnake | This tiny sidewinder who couldn’t be more than a very under year old, was found at a large solar panel construction site. It was released into a large well fed wash. There was a large tree at the side of the wash with a plethora of pat rack nest and ground squirrel holes. |

Tonopah | 85354 | Mojave Rattlesnake | Rattlesnake in a machine part in a "cubby hole"; they were watching it. Arrived and found a large adult Mojave rattlesnake sitting under a shipping container. Captured the snake. Was made aware that a baby had also been seen. After a few minutes of waiting, a small neonate Mojave rattlesnake emerged from under the container and was captured using tweezers. Waited a bit longer and flushed the hole with a bucket of water; no other snakes emerged. Reports from other workers indicate the other babies had already dispersed. |

7:00 PM |
Tonopah | 85354 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | A homeowner in Tonopah called about a rattlesnake outside their back door. The Western Diamondback was curled up against the side of the home when I arrived. Tons of open desert, no fences at all in this yard. Lots of wood piles and access points for snakes to get under the home. Recommended that the homeowners clean up some of the debris and seal off the access points because they are completely surrounded by rattlesnake habitat with no barrier. Snake was released into a large pack rat nest in a wash that was within its estimated home range. |
