He quickly realized it was the distinct sound of a rattlesnake. He looked underneath his shelving unit and found an adult Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled in the corner. The homeowners told me they left the garage door open for about an hour or so today, but almost always keep it closed. This shows how quickly a rattlesnake can find a comfy spot in your garage if the door is left open in a relatively short period of time- and why it’s so important to keep it closed.
