There’s a wash that runs next to house and they have had 5 rattlesnakes since they moved in in late August. They did have someone over for a quote on fencing but have not heard back from them, I will reach out to the fencing team about contacting them ASAP

This is the 6th rattlesnake they have had in the last 2.5 months, and they are waiting to get a quote on fencing. Yard was surrounded by mothballs in an attempt to keep snakes out. I informed them that this obviously does not work. House is next to a small wash that leads in from the desert where snakes are coming from.

However, there is some do it yourself snake fencing that needs to be replaced. She said that they have been doing a lot of remodeling and we’re thinking about doing it themselves but I made a good case that it’s not a good idea and that we have a good discount for Halloween.

They called and watched it until I arrived. Upon pulling back the leaves, I saw a Gophersnake. Educated the homeowners on the species and pointed out things that could be done to improve the snake fence before leaving.

So they went out with the dog that’s when they heard the rattlesnake under a bush in the back yard. They have a view fence and one gate. They have some desert landscaping on the other side of their yard.

They were excited and really cool people. Their yard doesn’t have a fence and is open. They do have vegetation but it is well kept and pretty much as clean as you can get a yard. They are surrounded by desert and may get a fence one day.

It was a large snake super thick too. The homeowner said he saw it in the road just a few houses down two nights ago.

I didn’t find any problems in the backyard other than rodents and access. I recommended that we snake-proof just the back area which is a number of gates and drain blocks. There are other sections with complicated drainages and moving gates that I said probably do not need to be done unless landscaping changes don’t work.

The garage door was shut. He thinks the snake snuck in the day before because the garage is sealed well. They just moved here two weeks ago from California. The home has a large backyard with a view fence. They are surrounded by desert.

The dog is snake trained. The snake then went into a crack on the side of the hot tub so I had to water it out and eventually it came out. There was a packrat nest in the side of the hot tub as well. They have a partial view fence back yard with an rv gate.

There is a wash right behind the home. They have a gate that doesn’t have protection and you can see the snakes slither marks going under the gate.

There was a little boulder by the pot with a rodent hole dug under it. I’m guessing the snake was using that as its winter spot and was just out today because it’s a nice day. The home has a view fence with a wash behind it.

The snake was by the front door but as I drove there went up into the stucco of the home. I tried watering the snake out but had no luck. They weren’t as concerned since it was not venomous.

One was kind of out in the open by some rocks. The other was under the pool decking, it was washed out providing a little cave for them. I watered the second one out. The homeowners have only lived there for about a month. They have a chain-link fence for their backyard and are interested in a quote.

It is likely that the snake was seeking shelter from the rain under the covered patio. The customer reported that this is the first rattlesnake they have seen on their property in the past 7 years.

This is a large horse property surrounded by desert. The guy said the lid was lifted a little allowing the snakes to get in at some point.
