Snake managed to get into backyard from around neighbors house and into one of two side entrances, as block wall surrounding house provided no entrances around back of house where habitat was. Snake likely wandered into back yard after managing to wander into the neighborhood and needed to find shade. Back yard had plenty of shade and cool places like pool equipment for snake to seek shelter. No evidence of rodent activity, so likely a coincidence that snake was there in my opinion. Good candidate for fencing.

She has a large back yard with no fence and horse property around her and desert across the street. She has a garden and she feeds the rabbits and birds. The rattlesnake was in her garden and while looking through the garden I found another rattlesnake under a tarp covering hay. I informed her that feeding the wild animals will bring the snakes in because she has made a pretty good spot for a snake to not only stay cool but hydrated and be well fed. She said she will stop feeding the animals in her garden.

2020-10-08 10:30 AM	Phoenix	85048	Tiger Rattlesnake	The homeowner saw a snake a few nights ago in his yard and thought it left. He then saw a shed under the only bush he has next to his house in his front yard. Today he saw the tiger rattlesnake coiled up next to the water spigot in the front yard up against the house. The ground was moist so I think the snake just used the spot to shed and get some water. The rest of the yard was pretty bare. Across the street from the house is south mountain and some nice rocky terrain.

They looked down and the yearling rattlesnake was by some pavers not far from them. It retreated behind the pavers until I got there. They live close to open desert.I noticed some rodent holes. They have a brick fence with a gate and a drain hole.

I did a sweep of the yard and found a second one stretched out on some river rocks on the opposite side of front yard. House is on a hill right next to an open area where snakes are coming from most likely. Homeowner has a bunch of birdfeeders and fountains set up and has seen multiple snakes this year, but said she was finally going to remove the bird setups. Backyard has been snake proofed by us before but front yard is still open. Customer would like fencing team to possibly come out and make sure the fence is still good.

Arrived and found a large western diamondback hiding behind the house near bushes. Captured and inspected customer snake fencing. The customer is selling a house. May reconsider having our fencing out in as his is quite short and has several gaps, however high enough to create a snake trap.

After convincing the customer to watch the snake, arrived and found western diamondback hiding in agave. Captured snake and recommended landscaping and snake fencing

The snake was going through a shed cycle so was likely searching for a safe spot to stay. House backs up to a mountain where snake likely originated from. Snake likely entered through the gap under the gate into the back yard.

There is a pretty good wash right behind their fence as well. I got a tiger out of the next-door neighbors back yard about a month ago.

The house is the second house in from a wash that runs through the neighborhood from the open desert, so the snake most likely originated from there.

A person walking on the sidewalk saw the snake and contacted us. The electric box was in direct sunlight. The snake was dead. Didn’t seem like his car injuries were that bad. I think it got too hot on the metal box in the sun and that’s how it died.

He lives on the bottom floor of an apartment complex with the wildlife area right behind his apartment. His dog has been through rattlesnake training and was avoiding an area behind his crate. The guy heard a buzz but thought it was a June bug. It was a yearling Mojave rattlesnake.

Their neighbors weren’t home so they watched it they lived right next door. They said there is a lot of new construction around the neighborhood and this is not the first snake sighting.

They sold it today and went to move it when they saw the atrox coiled underneath. It was in the 40s last night and has been pretty cold, I wouldn’t be surprised if the snake was there for a bit. They have a brick fence, an rv gate, and a drain hole. Their house backs up to a large preserve.
2020-11-03 11:00 PM	Phoenix	85085	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	House is directly up against an open desert area with view fencing and multiple gaps in the gate in the side yard for entrances. Lots of exotic plants and planters in the backyard to provide cover and tons of water and attract food. The couple saw one snake crawling along the fence in the backyard and watched it go under a large planter by the time I arrived. I flipped the planter over and found a second adult snake under it as well.

They have a brick fence with just one gate. There yard is very well maintained not a lot of bushes. They have a golf course and desert near by.

She had walked past the rattlesnake on her front porch several times while bringing in groceries before she saw it. She called me and I went out immediately to find a large western Diamondback still on her front porch. I removed it without incident and released it into a pack rat nest.

We've done about a quarter of their property and they're going to have the rest of the property snake fence next year sometime. He knows that there's a charge for this because the area isn't fully snake proof yet.

Inspected customers yard, found no attractants, however customer is a corner house in a highly developed area where movement and displacement is still fairly heavy

She was pretty sure it was a harmless baby snake but turned out to be a western diamondback. There garage door does not seal and has big gap on the bottom when closed I recommend some ways to seal that up. I checked the rest of the yard everything was great just trimming up a few things. They have a brick fence a gate and one drain hole and are interested in fencing.

The snake was in a defensive position the whole time I think the dog really freaked it out. Near the snake some of the patio got uplifted by the roots of a nearby tree this could of been where the snake was hanging out before it came out for some sun. It is really cold out so I doubt the snake was just out in the open like it was for long. They have a big yard with brick all around. A few drain holes and gates.

Customer went outside right as it started raining for the first time in months and snake was out on patio getting a drink. Likely entered yard through gap under the gate, which was right next to the patio. House is across the street from a undeveloped hillside.

2021-05-19 8:30 PM	Phoenix	85028	Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake	Rattlesnake on side of the house. Yearling speckled rattlesnake from last year‘s newborns found on side of house approximately two hours after a very tall and old Yucca tree fell down in neighbors yard. After inspecting the Yucca tree, roots were completely rotted causing the tree to fall over, but before the tree fell over it seems that there were many hollow pockets between tree roots and under the tree. I suspect that the speckled rattlesnake was living within the rotting roots of the tree, and came out when the tree fell over. The first rattlesnake that homeowners have seen on the property
