Tanque Verde 85749 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customers called about a rattlesnake found in the back yard near a trash bag. While en route they did an excellent job watching the snake. The snake remained in the same area upon my arrival. Once I saw the snake I gently used my tongs and placed it into my bucket. I looked around the yard the best I could with no further finds. I gave them my business card and talked about rattlesnake fencing with them. They seemed interested and will more than likely give me a call to schedule an estimate. End of report.

Paradise Valley 85253 Sonoran Gophersnake The homeowner was away on a trip when she got back she saw a gopher snake halfway down a hole in her back yard. It was like 40 degrees last night so I thought maybe it was just cold. I pulled the snake out and it was dead with a dead rat in his mouth and a ton of maggots. It was nasty. It looks as though the snake went to get the rat which was pretty big and it suffocated and also suffocated the rat and they both died in the hole and then maggots took over.

Mesa 85215 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner saw the rattlesnake last night moving all over his deck on his back porch. It went into this little hole that was in his deck and he thought it had left. He looked in the hole this morning and saw the snake. I could not grab the snake through the hole it was too small so I watered it out until it came out of the hole. He has a view fence and a golf course with the desert not too far away from that.

Phoenix 85054 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The snake must have got hit by a car and someone put the snake on a tall electric box. A person walking on the sidewalk saw the snake and contacted us. The electric box was in direct sunlight. The snake was dead. Didn’t seem like his car injuries were that bad. I think it got too hot on the metal box in the sun and that’s how it died.

Cave Creek 85262 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner heard some rustling by his front door he had a black rat trap out front and the rattlesnake went through the black box and got clamped in its midsection so his head was out one side tail the other. I opened the box and unclamped the poor snake. The snake was unharmed thankfully. I told the guy those traps are bad news so hopefully, he doesn’t use them anymore.

This is the 6th rattlesnake they have had in the last 2.5 months, and they are waiting to get a quote on fencing. Yard was surrounded by mothballs in an attempt to keep snakes out. I informed them that this obviously does not work. House is next to a small wash that leads in from the desert where snakes are coming from.

Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner just moved in a week ago from Arkansas. They went out to dinner and when they came home their the front door was open because it hadn’t shut all the way. She went down the hall and into her bathroom with the lights all off and heard the snake rattle at her in her bathroom. It was a pretty good size western diamondback. Her bathroom connects to her bedroom so she just shut the snake in there. She had a bunch of pillows stacked on the floor and that’s where I found the snake. They have a view fence with a large wash behind their house.

Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The snake was found by a dog coiled in corner of the backyard and moved underneath a nearby bush by the time I arrived. The backyard had chicken wire on gaps underneath the gate and in drainage bricks, but the corners of the chicken wire were not tight, so I’m guessing the snake entered through one of those. Likely traveled up a nearby wash a short distance from the open desert area where it originated.
