By the time I arrived, it had crawled up into a small crack in the corner of the house’s foundation. I was able to run a hose for a few minutes and flush it out. The home had a snake fence installed by us about five years ago. The warranty had long since expired, but the fence still looked great. I searched for more snakes and any possible clue as to how this one got in but could not find either. An urgent help ticket for the fence was then created.

11:30 AM
Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake A rattlesnake was found in the yard by the homeowner, trying to find an escape route. The couple who lives there bought the home with rattlesnake fencing already installed. They were under the impression it had been done by us, but it clearly had not. The mesh holes were too large and not secured in the view fence, and only some of the drainage holes in the block wall were secure. There was a gap/damage in the side gate rattlesnake fencing, which appears to be how the snake entered the backyard and then could not find an exit. This is their first rattlesnake in many years, according to them. They are interested in our fencing options. The snake was relocated into natural desert, into packrat nests about one mile away.

Arrived to the property and met customers at the front porch where they were watching the snake. Snake was stretched out underneath a patio table with its back half exposed. Used tongs to capture snake with no issue. Inspected the rest of the front yard and backyard with no other snakes found. House is first house off of a large culvert with tons of rock pile for erosion control. Pointed this area out to customers as it was no doubt where the snake came from. Tucson 85748 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake A previous customer called about a rattlesnake on her front porch. When I arrived, she said she was too scared to watch the snake until I got there, and it had moved from its initial location. After some searching, I found a Western Diamondback that was about to make its way into the garage. I conducted a property inspection and found another Western Diamondback in the garden. Both snakes were relocated to a drainage area down the road. I found two packrat nests under some cover where I relocated them.
