Tucson 85741 None Customer called about rattlesnake near neighbors drainage hole in wall. She was concerned that it may go to an unknown area and someone may step on it. When I arrived she showed me the area it was at. When I got to area she asked if I could see it. I said no I don’t see anything. Turns out that the chicken wire on drainage hole area had leafs stuck in it and she believed the leaf litter was a rattlesnake. She was very embarrassed. I searched around the area and gave her pointers on how to make the area a little less snake friendly which she appreciated. She was still grateful for the response. End of report.

She was concerned the snake was still there. I searched yard very thoroughly. I flipped any items that had gaps underneath. Flooded any areas that I could not see under. And searched through every bush on property. No snake was found. I suggested that the customer trim up any and all bushes that were overgrown which would reduce shade for snakes. I also discussed her large gap underneath her fence which is the only spot the snake could have gotten in. She is very interested in a quote from our fencing crew. End of report.

Tucson 85741 None Customer called about unknown snake species that crawled near garage. When I arrived customer was not confident it was in garage but possible. The garage had high volume amount of stuff such as boxes and bags that reached the ceiling. I tried my best to move everything carefully and safely. I was unable to find snake in garage. I also searched side of house in dense bushes and backyard. In backyard I flooded a large hole near shed with the customers garden hose. No success. After talking with customer and showing customer a variety of pictures he believes it was a gophersnake. I told him until a photo is sent or I am able to confirm what it is to treat the snake as venomous and to stay vigilant of moves. End of report.

They killed both. They had a lot of piled up brush when they found those but have sense threw that away. Their yard is basically just dirt now not many spots for a snake to hide.

Phoenix 85048 None The homeowners just moved in a couple of weeks ago. They have found three snakes in glue traps in the garage. From the pictures, one looks like a gophersnake and one coachwhip. They have several rodent holes throughout the yard. The hose is the closest to an open desert. Their garage was also left open for about a month before they moved in so the snakes could have been using it as shelter.

Tucson 85704 None Customer wanted inspection because he found 4 baby rattlesnakes in his yard. And mom near a large packrat nest. Unfortunately the customer killed all the babies and attempted to get the mom but was not successful. He wanted me to check his yard and packrat nest he saw the mom at. I throughly went through back yard that was inclosed by fence. I then went on other side to the packrat nest. It was one of the largest I had seen. I used the customers garden hose for about 30 minutes flooding every part of the nest. No success. I then used tool and broke it apart looking for snakes. No success. I then searched and broke down 2 other packrat nests afterwards. No success in finding anything except some pack rats. I told customer to use a pest control company to help maintain rodent issue. I also advised him to trim or remove lantana bushes. End of report.

Inspection was done throughly with no finds except for a large gophersnake shed under hole in concrete slab below an air conditioner. I searched and flooded different large pack rat nests. No success. I searched under all plants I could not see under including oleander and lantana bushes. The customer was told to keep those bushes trimmed so they would not be overgrown. The customer was educated about pack rats and there homes being utilized by rattlesnakes. He was also told to inspect drip systems that were not working properly.
