Scottsdale | 85266 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | A rattlesnake was found in the yard by the homeowner, trying to find an escape route. The couple who lives there bought the home with rattlesnake fencing already installed. They were under the impression it had been done by us, but it clearly had not. The mesh holes were too large and not secured in the view fence, and only some of the drainage holes in the block wall were secure. There was a gap/damage in the side gate rattlesnake fencing, which appears to be how the snake entered the backyard and then could not find an exit. This is their first rattlesnake in many years, according to them. They are interested in our fencing options. The snake was relocated into natural desert, into packrat nests about one mile away. |

Scottsdale | 85255 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner called about a small Western Diamondback on her back patio. This newborn baby was just cruising around the yard. There were some bushes in the yard; I talked to the owner about trimming them back, but nothing too drastic was needed.
