Scottsdale 85255 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The neonate rattlesnake was on the playground at this preschool. Thankfully everyone knows to keep an eye out for snakes here. They have some kind of fencing but it needs work to be fully snake proofed. It’s a view fence with some mesh on it currently. They have a lot of desert around them and we have been here several times this year.

Cave Creek 85262 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner called about a rattlesnake in his backyard. It was coiled up in between stacks of roofing shingles. I was able to catch it as soon as I arrived. This was a prior fence customer, but it has been out of warranty for several years. The fence still looked like it was in great shape. The homeowner said he was pretty sure that a landscaper left his gate open long enough for the snake to find its way in. At the request of the homeowner, I am submitting a fence ticket for someone to take a look at the fence just in case.

New River 85087 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Very nice couple who have had one rattlesnake in the past. The snake was located in their front courtyard, enjoying the shade. Their backyard and side yard were immaculate, with minimalistic styling and no clutter. They were wondering why the snake chose their front yard, as it was also very minimalistic, but the courtyard provided excellent shade for the animal. It was a small neonate rattlesnake, but over two weeks old, as no siblings or mother were found nearby.

Surprise 85387 Mojave Rattlesnake The homeowner called after seeing a rattlesnake in her backyard. She watched as it crawled under a shrub. I arrived soon after but could not find the snake. I did a very thorough search of the entire property, which was full of dense cover. I left and told her to call if she saw it again. She called me about 45 minutes later and said the snake was under the same shrub. When I arrived, the snake was again nowhere to be found. Tanque Verde 85749 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This property is surrounded by an adobe wall, and the drain holes are all covered. The gate, however, has a gap underneath, and that’s how I assume this large, healthy Western Diamondback rattlesnake got in. Just over the wall, a series of drip systems feed into the planters and there is a massive old prickly pear where the customer has seen rattlesnakes before.
